A good pal of mine designed this. I know how many hours and how much effort was put in to creating this. So pleased for him that his course made it on tour and i'm really looking forward to this. Probably won't score well considering my current form is not good

It's an easy course sure. Those struggling will do good on it. I love the course itself. The layout, lighting, colors love it. Some fun shots to be had for sure Wish that theme was used more often. I think we will see a bump on Swiss courses with some new surface choises once the Rustic frenzy wears off.

PS - Whoever chose this course for us, you do realize this is CC and not PGA or Web. Just wanted to make sure in case there was a mistake. I hear you loud and clear Wags. The course selector for Spirit Mountain is me, and I think this is a perfect fit for the cc tour. I can't control the wind, but come next week I'm expecting some very low scores across the board on this course. It's not a tough course at all. I think it's easier than St George to be honest. I set up a tour and shot -38..and to be quite honest..I didn't play well at all. It's very manageable

oh lol now I'm feeling behind the times I'm working on one in Rustic. But considering flipping it to tropical for the plants. I think we will see a bump on Swiss courses with some new surface choises once the Rustic frenzy wears off.

It's very manageable Hey Jim, I guess each person responds to different courses differently and "easy" and "difficult" is relative to what that person's strengths and weaknesses are. My weaknesses are narrow fairways and strong winds so I guess this course accentuates those weaknesses. I did do better in the rounds where the winds died down a bit but those fairways are still difficult for me. Also, because of the dark fairway texture (at least with my video card) it's hard for me to tell where the fairway ends and the rough begins. This is an added challenge. This one will require more practice than usual for me to be able to handle it come tournament time.

I was off a bit but still score pretty well with my worst round being -8. It will help you with where to aim and shape your shots. Don't be afraid to play turn based on as well with a ghost. You learn a lot. I can help you Young Grasshopper I use to be very cautious with narrow fairways too....now I just grip it and rip it

1093 Yard ace at Spirit Mountain Jim's tune up. Friday setup I think. Think some of the information is off lol, more like 237 yards. Says I'm even par, was about -9.
Still itching to get that "Super Ace" trophy for a 250+ yard ace. And still have yet to get one in tournament.
Recorded from the saved shots area in the main menu. Wish it had the accurate commentary. "Pardon the salty language but holy crap" Never heard that before. Heard holy crap but not the salty language part.
lol and I just noticed that was another terrible slice. thats 3 nice shots since yesterday with this bad slice disease I have been suffering last 2 days lol

I played a checkout round even before practice starts for me because I had never played the course before. I went -8 on the front nine and then all pars on the back!

I seem to be the exact opposite. Lots of pars on the front 9. Then the birdies start to roll in. Though my ace round i came in at -14. Dont know the course that well yet but plan to work the hell out of it this week. There is one drivable par 4 i love. Someone is going to ace that this week. I played a checkout round even before practice starts for me because I had never played the course before. I went -8 on the front nine and then all pars on the back!

I created a practice tour for week 18 since I played all my rounds for this week's tourney and was itching to give the next course a go. Its called CCW18 Practice. This is just on the PC, dont have the game for PS4/XB1. Just search for "ccw18" and you should find it. I don't know what the winds are like since I am planning on playing it later today. Practice away! I will probably restart a couple times, so do that however many times you want! Thanks for the practice set up. Either I was really "on" today or this is an easy course. Perhaps it's the lack of hazards. We'll see what happens when the crowd is watching. Ken
