TPC @krampus Kristie is now open for play. The course plays tough but can surrender a low score if you're on your game. It's available in summer and winter themes with the winter playing a little tougher. I won't waste anyone's time by trying to get plays from people who won't enjoy it, so if you prefer shooting -14 I don't recommend it. If you enjoy a challenge and battle with old man par I think you'll really enjoy this one. For those who decide to play it, I'd love some feedback as I've already layed some ground work for another course on the same property.

I love The Willows, and I love a course where breaking par is a challenge. Gonna tee it up a little later.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. The sun on the snow, in constrast witht the green of the fairways and greens. Eye candy, to say the least.
And the golf. A challenge, as advertised. I got Krampus'd a few times out there, to the tune of +3.
Must play.
Great job!! John

The summer version is a slightly easier version, but you'll still get Krampus'd (love that term) a few times

Do I get a free round for suggesting the name haha? I'll give it a go next time I'm on.

Anyone looking for a good test needs to get out and give this course a play. I just played a round and was able to battle my way up to -3. Expect have some tough shots out there, but for those of you who like to be challenged, this course will do exactly that. The shaping spans large elevation changes quite smoothly, and creates some very tricky greens sights. The beauty of this course is evident from the first tee, and carries on throughout the property. Everything is very natural, from the pond edges, to the grasses near the tees, a lot of time was spent on the details here.
I've got some insider info that the dozers have been hard at work turning this into a 36 hole property, and I am really looking forward to seeing the finished product.

My review from the 3 Hole Showcase Contest: Series 1 Tour 3hershalcrustofsk - TPC @ Krampus Kristie TGCT Course PageForums: TGCTFairways: Medium Greens: Medium Firm, Medium Speed So, I've just played the full course (summer version). Having played the 3 hole version I was looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint. I absolutely love this course. It just looks stunning. It sticks to a pretty simple formula but it is consistantly beautiful. There is lots of water and slopes, although many are not in play so it isn't overdone. The brown heavy rough looks stunning with the trees creating a lovely woodland feel. The par 3 to start the showcase off is a great hole, a subtle back stop on the left can help feed back into the hole if used right, or you can go straight at it. Certainly multiple ways to get close and multiple ways to mess it up . Some of the greens are possibly a little much... the final hole of the showcase demonstrates this well. I think if you gave perhaps another 5 yards depth to the green it might make it a little less frustrating as holding the green is difficult. However the hole is great on the whole, a tricky drive to a narrow fairway where finding the short grass is a must. With water right, a runoff left and a narrow green, you want a short club in your hands from a good lie. Despite the difficult green, love the hole. I think the greens are both a great feature and possibly a great frustration of the course. I personally loved them, but some might possibly find them hard work. The only thing I would add to it are some sort of pathways between fairways and holes. At least in a few places it looked like the player would have a trek through the woods. I really would be very happy playing this on tour, highly recommend folks get out and play this.

The room for error is very small and some will definitely find it frustrating. Definitely a love or hate kind of course based on 2 published summer versions (exact same layout) getting an 8.1 and the other getting a 6.1. Also good call on the pathways, added them when I made the 2nd 18 on the property.
