Well boys....go get it. It's ripe for the picking. Par is punishment on this course. I expect the winner somewhere around the -50 range. Birdie Fest and I didn't have a ticket. 64-64-65-66
-33Should be good for a top 50

-33Should be good for a top 50 In C Class, yeah, that's not going to do much. Heck, E Class is going to be -44 to -48 under for the win. I'll probably finish around 50th as well shooting in the low 20 under range.

Pretty bad when you can average -8 a round and be pissed off about it. I hate courses where par is a bad score.

First ever tournament, C-Class, and won't contend for a top 50. Just getting my feet wet. Q-School was fun.

What was the wind like? I've played a few rounds in the tune up as I had finished last weeks early, after playing shocking I thought I'd play a little ready for next week as I never tend to practice the course.

Wind wasn't too bad...minimal winds in all 4 rounds with surges up to and over 15mph in all 4 rounds. The usual ebbs and flows.

Left plenty of putts out there and took a bogey on the 11th after lack of concentration and hit way short. I'm in CC-B however, thought I'd post here though as this thread was set up. I've seen the ghosts I was playing with missing lots of putts. So my -9 probably is a good 4-5 shots off where Id need to be.

My new avatar contains what is usually my par putt in this game. I get on average 4-5 per round.

I'm on target 99% of the time..that one tap north should get some of these to start falling

Well that was... weird? Not liking these birdieparties I knew that this wasn't gonna be my week. Had way too many lipouts and under 100% shots to do anything. Also forgot to change the shot from normal to flop near the green... Yeah, not my week.
63/67/62/69 = -31. Maybe top-60?
So. Many. Lipouts.

I always move the marker 2-3 ft past the hole depending on what is going on beyond the hole and the speed of the greens. I then adjust that position by 1ft for every inch of elevation change. Tend to be more cautious though on those steep downhillers.

Time to start getting a little aggressive with the flatter putts.

63-71-63-63. Disappointed with the 63s, each of those should have been at least 2-3 shots better. If I'm disappointed with the 63s you can imagine what I think of the 71.
