Gents,
it was not a good tournament for me. There were so many close putts. But in the end there is nothing.
#1 - 73 #2 - 71 #3 - 71 (my first hole in one) #4 - 69 (Double Bogey on 18th)
There were ups and downs here for me. This course is not forgiving. One wrong descision and you have to fight for Par. But it was fun anyway.
Good luck out there Gentlemen.

Not for me either. After finishing -8 on exemption in The Lake of Bays Classic to earn my CC-E card, I totally blew it this tourney and scored +20 I probably should have quit and played my 4th round later, because I scored +10. I think I will start using my PS4 controller now as my PS3 controller's joysticks are kind of sloppy.

Well I'm on an exemption from the CC-Z tour and I guess I'm pretty happy I shot Even my first round. This is not a forgiving course, I've spent quite a bit of time at the beach that first round.

I shot -18. Won't win but I hope it'll get top 10.

With one controller I do not have to think about straight shots, but with the other one every single shot is a matter of luck. Slices and hooks, not even consistant. I don't know if it is the hardware or the way I am sitting in front of my PC. I thought about taking my prefered controller with me each weekend.

Had a slow burn of tourney
R1-69 R2-68 R3-65 R4-68
Round four and round one should've both been lower. Had a couple of missed putts within ten feet that killed some good runs in both rounds. Compared to the week before in my CC-D sponsor's exemption I was actually able to move the ball around the course and find my misses. Especially off the tee. Hoping I'm somewhere in the 15-20 range, though I know this could've been a top-5 or top-10 week if I could've gone a little lower the first two days. The course is definitely there for the taking.

I think I just need to change my swing method (also think the firmer joystick is helping too). I seem to hit drivers and woods wayward more than my irons, so I think I will actually look at the stick when I swing those. I just hit -4 for the next week's course on a practice round, so I will see how it turns out come tournament time.

Less chance to get jumpy and seems to encourage a smoother swing. I've found watching my player more intently seems to help me swing on a better path. Sometimes when I'm watching the target I must get quick with my swing.

Wow was this course unforgiving, I had a hell of a time hitting the fairways this week, plus this was a sponsor exemption for me. I shot 73 70 76 82, horrible. Seems like each time I get the exemption I can't play.
I will say this course doesn't look tough to start with but then wow the greens have some crazy breaks if you don't play them right on your approach, and the fairways are tight with perfectly placed hazards.
There is always next week.

Shot a 67 on the final round to finish at -4... I believe that I earned my CC-E card!

Hey guys. My sincere apologies to those at the top of the leaderboard. I was away for business the past few days and didn't get to play any rounds in the tourney until today... And somehow I shot lights out the first 3 rounds. When I posted the 3rd round, I finally looked at the leaderboard and was shocked to see myself in second, with 1 stroke back. This unnerved me somehow and I almost blew it but managed to get the 2 under in the last round for the win. I wasn't sandbagging or anything... I just couldn't play until today. I know how it must feel for the guy I just beat. He surely swore he had the win in the bag after seeing all the scores this morning. Again, my sincere apologies... I never even thought I'd even make the top 10.

You went for the win, that's not sandbagging. The event is open for the week and can be played anytime, so you have nothing to apologise for. Sounds like you just played really well and should be proud of that fact. I have missed out on the last day by one shot in the past. It was not a case of me losing but the other guy winning. If he or you played well enough to be top of the leaderboard, ye deserve it. Now you have the wait to see if any more late scores come in, if not congrats on the win.

Hopefully no one gets too bent out of shape. I almost always assume there will be some late scores to knock me down a few spots, but I can see where not everyone might think like that. On to CC-D now either way!
