You'll pick this up with experience but the landing area is usually quite a bit in front of what you think. In other words don't be too conservative in your estimate. Play with ghost balls of the pro-tour players and you'll pick up a lot as well.

May as well plunk this in this thread, wasn't on your tune up though Pablo.
My 9th now on PC. Also helped me best my old score of -7 on Willows, (burn 1) Ended up -11. Johns mad at me, not a comment.
And I just saw in Steam I hit the 700 hours played mark. Must be my reward giving me an ace today.

No, never even tried that. Not sure I would want to lol.
Thats just from watching the replay in game and using Steam Shadow Play to record the last minute, F9. Saves it to a TGC folder in mydocuments.
TGC doesnt have a clear and easy way to save a reply

Use the same button you would to use to restart a round or etc, I'm using an Xbox one controller on pc, start button I think it is. The little one on the right face just above your swing stick. Then scroll down to watch replay. There you have several options, loop, play to end, change to a ghost your playing against or favorite, if you favorite it it gets saved in your stats page. Where you check your total game stats, birdies etc, scroll down and there is a section for replays.

So I guess you have to capture it right away or it's lost. Would be nice if you could go back and pick any of your shots for any of the holes. But I guess that would be way too much programming involved.

I think stress think, that you can select the hole to replay, and if you turn off "loop" and select "play to end" it will replay everything from that round up till then. Almost sure on the loop part, not sure on the select hole, never tried it.

Does anyone have any idea about hole six? Its either a short iron layup or a forced scramble it looks to me.

If you do, play it safe and lay up with an iron and then shoot for the green on shot 3. It's how I play it. However, if I land in the left bunker, I take the biggest iron I can find and aim left of the far left tree and try to hook it onto the left fairway and then to the green from there. The hole is a b%&. There is no question about it.

Just shot 17 under in my latest practice tour. Course is getting easier with practice. I think I'll be ready come prime time.

That was for the whole tour, 4 rounds. I assume that they setup the 4 different pin positions Course plays very differently each round. It appears as if he even moved the tees from setup to setup as some appear to be closer than others. This one really makes you think. Sorry if I made you think that I shot 17 under in one round. I'll have to be reincarnated 100 times over to even come close to that. But I'm happy with 17 under for the 4 rounds given how tough this course is compared to this week's.

Ahh. Ok, yeah I thought it was -17 for a round. That would be mental Yes. Tees and pins are different throughout the event. There is even an alternate green used.
