Lovedeep Singh on top after two! No offence mate but Irving's gonna have a field day with that! (If it remains the same of course)

For the first time this week, I birdied the first hole and when I went two under after two, the confidence was high. That lasted all the way to the third hole where I was lucky to get away with par, still a positive start. The good start continued on four, I made the green in two but with the pin positions so close to the front of the green, stopping the ball close was never going to happen, my eagle putt was around forty five feet and as soon as it left the club face, I know it was going to be close. It seemed to take age to get to the cup, the line and speed were perfect and it dropped right in the centre. I don't make putts like that to often but what a feeling when it comes off. Such a pity that I lost both shots on the very next hole, maybe I got over confident, tried a shot I should not have played and lost a golf ball to the depths of the water. It took me a couple of holes to get my nerve back and a good approach on the seventh helped bring me back to three under. I followed that with birdie on eight and finished the front nine with a par. A fun front nine that showed me at my best and worst with some average me thrown in for good measure.
I started the back nine with a birdie to keep my scorecard ticking over. I now needed to focus and pick up shots when I could while keeping mistakes to a minimum. I picked up a shot on eleven before a bad putting mistake cost me a birdie on twelve. I think my first real thrown away birdie chance over the three rounds so far. A near perfect approach on the next made up for that which left me sitting on seven under. A disappointing lip approach and then lip out meant just a par on the par five fourteenth, a hole where birdie really should be made. And when I lipped out again on the next, I said to myself to just bring this home, the round was steady, no need to push it and cost myself a shot or two. Then I paid not attention to my own good advice and went pin seeking anyway over the next three holes resulting in two birdies and a par to finish nine under.
A decent score considering I did not play my best. I left a couple of shots out there but no complaints really. Easily the most entertaining round of the three so far and can't ask any more than that. One round to go and hopefully no collapse like last week, although not as much pressure this week since I won't be top of the leaderboard after three. Have fun.

3rd round was the best recorded score in my career. Ended up w/ a 58 (should have been 57, but I can't complain).
I think that should put me in the top 3 after 3 rounds I would hope............ Crossing fingers. I completed my last round last night and it wasn't 58 but it wasn't bad either.
I'll refrain from saying what it was right now.

There are a fair few people sitting on the PS4 leaderboard at -44 right now... Could be tight for a top 5 spot!

Round four, also known as the can't handle the pressure and I fall apart round. Let's see how many little pieces I break into today shall we. After day threes shock birdie start, things returned to normal with a par. My first yellow number came on the second when my approach stopped two feet from the hole. I am still not fully confident in my putting at the moment so that's the kind of putt I like. A over hit tee shot brought par on the third before I hit the water on four. I am not sure how that happened. I was sure I played enough club, maybe the wind affected more than I thought. I recovered for par but it was disappointing not to birdie that hole. At least I did not hit the water again on the fifth, came close but played enough club this time, same result though, still a par. I was getting the wind wrong, on the sixth my approach found the heavy rough to the left of the green. A excellent chip shot brought a birdie but as usual, I was making the last round hard for myself. Thankfully, I did not mess up the next par five so I was three under after eight. I failed to find the green again on nine and no chip in this time to save me, three under for the front nine.
I had to birdie the tenth to have even the slightest hope of pushing for a top ten, that hope was taken away as I watched my ball roll backwards on the green. Pars on two par fives now, just not good enough. I did not expect my tee shot to find the green on eleven, let alone roll off the back into a bunker, a poor bunker shot left me in the rough, my second chip in of the day saved me, four under. A couple of pars followed as I continued to misjudge my shots into the green, normally the strongest part of my game. I went five under on fourteen to bring some respectability to my scorecard before another misjudgment brought yet another par. I wish I could say I finished strongly but I did not hit a single green over the last three holes. My third chip in did bring birdie on the last so I finished six under.
To be honest, I got lucky, three chip ins disguise the fact I played poorly during my last round and yet I am very happy overall. I played really well at times, I only dropped shots on one hole over four rounds. I was in contention up until the final round itself which came as a big surprise. The positives outweigh the negatives big time this week and I am leaving the course in a good frame of mind. Major improvements over my last stay in cc-a. Just need to keep it up over the next few weeks til I am confident enough to push for the web. Until then, I will continue to try improve my game, no doubt there will be a bad week from time to time but the last three weeks have seen forwards steps.

Oh dear... please not like this. If the leaderboard doesnt change i'm going to lose the lead because of the horror 4 putt from 15ft on the last round. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO D: Tied scores, same shots scored on 18,17 AND 16 then I have a big fat 5 on 15.... Even a godamn 4 would have been enough. It was the worst sequence of putts I would nearly think of all time, I cringe even thinking about them and now its cost me. I'm so sad right now Web exemption for next week though, think positive haha. I'm assuming noone will pass us, GG Josh.

I'm playing on a sponsors exemption and am 10 shots behind the highest exemption, if it stays the same do I qualify for promotion or does it have to be 9 shots as the rules say "within 10 shots" ?

As far as I know it's 10 shots so if it stays the same, you should get your card.

If this holds up, it'll be my first win. See ya on the Web Tour next week. I'll be curious to see how it goes.
