I'll start this off. I haven't played it yet. While changing over the fluid in my water cooled computer, my hard drive bay was not secured and my main Hard Drive fell into the bucket where all my flush water was. Good news, It was in there for under 3 seconds and it is distilled water so absolutely no impurities. Bad news, water and HDDs do not go well together. First world problems suck. I'm going to let it dry out for a week. I have backups but it would suck to lose a $400 drive. Anyway, back to the course. A wonderful little challenge. I want to hate this course so much with all the undulations of these greens and I want to cry unfairness, but I can't. While certainly a challenge there is nothing unfair about this course. Yes you have to really take your time and read the breaks, don't trust the bubbles! 3/4 of your approach shots are long iron or higher and par is DEFINITELY something you should be aiming for on several holes. I'm hoping for -20ish but that is going to be a challenge if the winds are up. My main goal is to attempt to mitigate bogeys. Birdie is hard enough to get here, spoil it with a bogey and it is like a dagger to the back. GL all! I've seen some impressive scores already.

I ruined my chances to contend with poor putting, like always. Yes, the greens are tough with lots of insulation around the hole, but I kept overcompensating when I miss a putt low, I miss the next one high. Couldn't get any momentum going. Even, worse taking a 6 on a par 5 by putting off the green is simply inexcusable and loss of focus. I look forward to seeing Ian, Bradley, or Doyley breaking -40 here. 66-61-60-64 = -29

Think i finished -11, started with a nice -7/8 (cant remember) then round 2 started with a 4 putt double. Then i made 7 straight birdies before the turn and followed that up with soo many -100% shots which landed in the water so 2 doubles and a insane quadruple bogey later i was back to +2 for the round. Same crap happened in rd 3/4 and i finished -11 overall. Duno if its my controller or what but couldnt get full swings and really struggled with pace on the greens. The course punished any sort of decent approach shot too which really annoyed me but other than that its my own fault for not practicing days 2-4. On the plus side il still finish top 30 That's unfortunate for you. I disagree that it didn't award decent approach shots. The course main defense is its length (7,500 yards) and only two par 5s that aren't reachable. The undulation around the hole is what was my undoing. If you had Magnolia speed, it would be double difficult. You could aim for a top 29 lol

-11, -10, -9, -7. -37 total. Happy with the score as you can quite easily get stuck on a par run. Some horrible putts from close and many invisible breakers. Expect somebody to get to -45. Good luck all still to play

I couldn't seem to get the pace on them as some would just take off sometimes. Which I haven't had much or any of in the last 6 months+. Could there be a frame rate issue on xbox?

I didn't have one <100 shot in this tournament, although I had some in last weeks tourney. So i can't say that there is an obvious issue here.

I did see a few approach shot that seemed to be choppy but luckily hit a few close on maybe the 2 or 3 holes i noticed it during. Not a huge deal as it wasn't throughout the course. I do love the course though. A few holes seem "unfair" but overall u need to be right on the stick and u can make a birdie. But miss 6 ft left from 195 yards and u have a 30 footer with 6 ft of break.

SO. MANY. <100. SHOTS. I may need to get drunk to get back out and finish the 4th round for this one. This is crazy to me because I've never been one to have a problem with this on the ps4 even wth all of the problems for others at times. I may need a new controller or something because between 92% and a consistent draw on every swing, the only reason I want to turn the game on lately is to design. This is a good little course, and it's a shame this happened to me this week because I was finally excited to play a tournament on a challenging course in an event that was pretty important.

Also, let's pray that countryside courses are basically done. They've always given me problems in terms of lag and things like this.

I was cruising along, playing one of my better events in quite a while, then all of a sudden I took the max on a hole in round 3. I can't remember if it was an 11 or a 12 but my approach wound up on a hill that I could not advance the ball in any direction.
Not sure if I can grab a clip of it since I just basically turned the game off after that. I'll post it if I can. Very frustrating.

Isn't the option for unplayable lie available when this happens?

Maybe, but after the first swing that doesn't advance the ball your options are limited because replaying from previous location no longer changes anything. This is how Kevin Na wound up taking a 16 IRL.
I was too stubborn and frustrated (and drunk) to stop just hacking away anyway. The fact that my controller, PS4, and TV all remain intact is a victory.
