Well I couldn't get all the rounds in but I was able to post the first 2.
-7 -9
And that was scrapping for every opportunity. I left so many putts 10 to 12 feet above the hole and couldn't get them down. I also put it in the drink once as I miss evaluated the distance.
See if I can get it going in the final two rounds tomorrow.

Back to reality this week after after a strong debut last week. Whole lot of "if's" and "but's" in round 1. Finished -8 but could have been much better. Round 2 was a total flop and I could only manage a -3. I imagine I'll be on the outside looking in after the cut but you never know. The course is a bit tricky. Elevation off the tee did me in. I definitely would have benefitted from playing a practice round or 2.
Using my exemption earned last week for the Sony open. My confidence is pretty low after my final round in week 12 and this lackluster performance.

This week was the Hyundai TOC on the PGA and I couldn't use the exemption on the other event being played. Wish I could have. Would have felt a little better about my chances if all the top players were in a different tourney, lol.

A couple of meh rounds for me anyway played pretty well in rd 1 just had a stretch of pars that killed my score, finished -9. Second round played a good bit tougher and I scraped a -7 with a couple of stupid bogies. I played on the 3 rd round stupidly as usual and was grinding away at -6 until a double bogey 7 on 18th cost me over finding the rough with my second shot. Took me 5 to get on the green with one bad shot after another from horrible lies in the rough. Anyway I'll play the last round if it looks like I'll make the cut otherwise I won't bother as I'm making up the numbers now. R1 63 R2 65 R3 68 -20 after 3

Struggled with this one, didn't play badly just couldn't make anything happen, one round I was -7 at the turn and thought I was on for a good score...ended -8 after poor back 9. -13 after two so I'll be near the cut line. Ended -28 after 4 rounds. Disappointing.

Loved the course this week, so many risk/reward shots. That said, I took one big risk that completely screwed me in round 2. Round 1 61 had me feeling great, aced the 17th after a perfect bounce on the front of the green, figured I'd be up near the top.
Fast forward to round 2...grinded out a -5 heading to 17. Then was a couple yards off calculating and SPLOOSH. Not only did I hit water, but completely botched the recovery for a triple bogey. Looks like the cut line will probably be -14 or -15...great way to make that shot pain me even more.
Finished playing to try and erase that dud, but only mustered a 67 and a 69.
Taking a new-ish approach from this week out I think. I only have so much time to play each week (wife frowns on ps4 every day) and practice time has diminished, so I went through the web and TST schedules and circled one event per month. Will still play others...but hoping that practicing a few times over a month on one course will help with play...and with focus. Plus, I'm secretly hoping that I somehow play great with no prep and no expectations on the other weeks. We'll see how that goes for me. In the meantime, Jimmy that -40 is very good. Nice playing and good luck on the leaderboard.

Totally know what you mean about your wife frowning at the game playing. I think all us married at about this age have to deal with that. It's all about finding a balance that works for you. If momma's not happy, nobody's happy. I get home ~ 45 minutes before the wife during the work week.... guess when my tour rounds take place... haha

Well, I wish I would've gotten my other 2 rounds in. I come home from work, jump on to play before the wife gets home and bam! Playstation NET WORK is down with no fix in sight. Bummer.

Wondering has the resistance been hacking the PSN and tgctours sites!
Ps network down and no updates which usually means they haven't a clue what's wrong.
Tgctours website has watcher deadline set for midnight Wednesday 24 hours in advance of usual.
Also it's week 13 and the watchers championship is 2 weeks away.
Let you conspiracy theorists run wild!
long live the resistance WOTW !!!

After getting my rear end handed to me the last two weeks on the PGA tour on exemption, I took a few days off and feel refreshed. Played one of my most solid rounds in a while and opened with a -12. If I can keep putting like I did in round 1, I might have a chance at earning another exemption.

I think I may try this method. Collect two exemptions and then play in PGA 2 weeks straight. Seems like better odds that way, right?

Yea didn't know it would carry over, but since it did I thought I'd give last week a try... Didn't like the web course last week so it worked out, well not really since i stunk up the joint lol.

Well keep it up Dan. If you can score -12 on all 4 rounds then you would end up at my prediction for the top scorer this week at -48.
