Hey everyone, As the end of the year approaches, I have been going through the course database and playing through some of my favorite courses. I have ranked them into a Top 50 list! Feel free to debate/argue/agree with my choices, but please remember: 1. These are my FAVORITES (ones that stuck out and I really enjoyed). This doesn't mean these are the BEST courses out there. 2. Don't be offended if you made a well received, fantastic course and it isn't on here. I may have not played it or it didn't suit my eye. 3. I didn't pick any of my own courses. Here we go! I will be releasing 10 courses a day until we reach #1! Hopefully you guys give some of these a play as there are some forgotten about/hidden gems on this list! Shout out to our master photographer karma4u..I'm using his pictures #50 - The Kootenai Club by Travis CaryTheme: BorealDate added to database: February 14th, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5584This course was a real gem when I played it back in February. A great boreal course that used water really well. Haven't seen this designer in a while and I assume he has moved on, but he left us with this gem. #49 - Tobo Golfklubb (Yellow Tees) by Robert Karlsson Theme: Boreal Date added to database: January 17th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4459Robert gave us an outstanding RCR of a course he plays in Sweden and really showed off the incredible attention to detail when it comes to creating real courses. His method of creating "dummy holes" to make things more authentic was genius. #48 - Blue Willow Club and Lodge by Ricky Tomboli Theme: Countryside Date added to database: January 13th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4445One of the first truly great Countryside courses, Ricky's Blue Willow really stands out. This designer seems to have moved on as well, which is disappointing! Great course. #47 - Massara Golf Club by Mikael Thunberg Theme: Countryside Date added to database: October 4th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16274You will see a few of Mikael's (mikemike3000) courses on this top 50 list. A designer with an eye for beauty who makes accessible, fun courses. Massara is no exception. #46 - Hobble Creek G.C. by Brandon Pugh Theme: Countryside Date added to database: June 9th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/12924Another great RCR of a beautiful looking track in Utah. Brandon (friendbomber) really established himself with this beauty. #45 - Magestic Oaks Golf Club by Nic Zaiser Theme: Countryside Date added to database: January 25, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4498Nic (misternic) doesn't design alot, but when he does, he creates some great courses. Magestic Oaks is one of his best. #44 - Timberland Golf and Hunting Club by Mikael Thunberg Theme: Boreal Date added to database: September 4th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16197Another mikemike3000 course, Timberland is just gorgeous. The lighting was perfect as he routed each hole to be facing the same way, which is one of its great qualities, but makes the course difficult if there is a large headwind. #43 - The Sneaky Yeti Golf Facility and Vegetable Market by Bryan Cowles Theme: Highlands Date added to database: September 27th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16257My TGCTLive co-host Dr. Yeti released this beauty of a course at the end of September. Some beautiful and exciting holes here. #42 - Turtle Creek GC by Brandon Pugh Theme: Highlands Date added to database: November 18th, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17373Friendbomber gets his name on my list again with Turtle Creek. A very fun highlands course with a unique look. #41 - Bunyip River Golf Club by Elliott Caw Theme: Harvest Date added to database: April 30, 2015 TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/9790My other TGCTLive co-host makes it on the list and proves that you don't need to make a course long for it to be a challenge. A fun challenge at that. Check back tomorrow to see the next 10 courses on my list!

#40 - The Challenge Club by Dario Logan Theme: Boreal Date added to database: February 15, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5626The Challenge Club certainly lives up to its name. At over 7800 yards, it was one of the longest courses I played this year, but it was a great, fun challenge. #39 - Horned Viper GC by Boomboom (Gold Tees) by Brian Boomer Theme: Delta Date added to database: November 25, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17405For myself, Horned Viper was the birth of another elite designer in Brian Boomer. A beautiful, challenging Delta course well worth a play. #38 - Elmview Golf Club (Open Edition) by Brian Jeffords Theme: Countryside Date added to database: May 4, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/9806Reebdoog's first entry into my list, Elmview was the host of the U.S Open over at TGC Tours. One of the few courses around that is truly difficult without any sort of "trickiness". #37 - Ottaberry Golf Club by Adam Benjamin Theme: Highlands Date added to database: November 9, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17349Adam (Arctic Fury) may be one of the most memorable designers around. Each one of his courses has one of those "how did he do that??" feature to it. Ottaberry was no exception. A lovely course here with some of the best use of rocks you will ever see. #36 - The Rookery by Brian Jeffords Theme: Highlands Date added to database: October 2, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16269Reebdoog makes my list again with the Rookery. If you are looking for some fun, fantasy golf, The Rookery should be your first stop. #35 - Spartina G.C. by Rich Banker Theme: Countryside Date added to database: May 17, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/10862Rich blew me away with attention to detail at Spartina G.C. An outstanding course with firm greens that forces the golfer to plan their way around the course, instead of just hunting for pins every hole. #34 - The Narrows at Kilraine by Henrik Sundqvist Theme: Highlands Date added to database: September 30, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16262This course was not on my radar at all until I played it in a recent TGCTours tournament. Some of the best views in the game. Might not be the hardest course out there, but a very enjoyable round is in store. #33 - The Golf Club at Hunter Meadows by Keith Callahan Theme: Countryside Date added to database: January 10, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4431This course put our fearless community manager (HB_KeithC) on the map....before he was a community manager! Hunter Meadows is a fun, relaxing round and still holds up well despite being almost a full year old. #32 - Lion's Gate Country Club - Jo'burg RSA by Job Fickett Theme: Countryside Date added to database: January 11, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4432Another course released way back in January of this year back when Job wasn't busy being the super lawyer his is today. Lion's Gate was amazing when it was released and still holds up incredibly well today. The the lion on the hill made out of rocks? One of the features I will never forget from this year. #31 - The Copse @ Malkie Coast by Ola Ericsson Theme: Highlands Date added to database: September 27, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16253One of the biggest surprise designers of the year, Ola came out of nowhere to give us this gem. Outstanding use of the Highlands theme, with some well thought out shots. That's it for today, I'll be back tomorrow with 30-21!

#30 - Pebble Beach Golf Links (Blacks) by Brandon Pugh Theme: Tropical Date added to database: September 10, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16211Friendbomber makes the list again with a near perfect recreation of one of my favorite courses, Pebble Beach. With so many great Real Course recreations in this game, who needs that EA game? #29 - Pelikila Golf Club by Brandon Pugh Theme: Tropical Date added to database: December 4, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17429Back to back spots for Brandon, who shows he is just as talented creating fictional courses as he is real courses. This course is an absolute stunner and a great course if you are looking for more of a fantasy golf experience. #28 - Spyglass Hill 2015 by Yeltzman Theme: Delta Date added to database: December 2, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17418Another outstanding RCR of a great course. Yeltzman nails Spyglass, adding another great real life course to the roster. #27 - Empyreal Hills Golf Club by Adam Benjamin Theme: Countryside Date added to database: May 11, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/10828Adam's Empyreal Hills was one of the runners up to this year's U.S. Open Design Competition, and for good reason. Some excellent elevation work and quite a few memorable holes will keep you coming back for more. #26 - TGC Players Club - Stadium by Dario Logan Theme: Countryside Date added to database: May 4, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/9807Dario (CSUGolfer) makes it on again with this gem. One of the most difficult, but fair courses you will play, the Stadium course represents true challenge. #25 - The Goldfinch Club by Keith Callahan Theme: Delta Date added to database: October 30, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17325I'm usually not a fan of the HB Official courses, but ever since Keith took over and started building them, I have started to play them. The Goldfinch Club is his best and my favorite "HB Official". #24 - Freshwater Golf Club by Adam Benjamin Theme: Highlands Date added to database: July 31, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16069This course is stunning and quite challenging..it gave me headaches during a tournament this year. I went back with a fresh mind and loved every second of it. #23 - Glen Abbey GC by Brian Boomer Theme: Rustic Date added to database: December 15, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17455Another great RCR, Boomer goes a fantastic job recreating the site of many Canadian Opens. A great challenge, I have a feeling we will be playing this one on the tour in mid summer during the Canadian Open. #22 - Oceanic Athletic Club by Adam Benjamin Theme: Highlands Date added to database: September 1, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16192Adam was a busy man creating outstanding courses this year, as he gets on my list for a 4th time. Oceanic was a gorgeous, fun course with a built up small village...and who can forget the baseball diamond he built? #21 - Pawnee Reserve Golf and Country Club by Dan Hebert Theme: Countryside Date added to database: April 30, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/9785Hebert (guitardude) gets on the list with this outstanding course. This course emits a classic "parkland" style feel before we had access to the rustic theme. Beautiful and challenging and worth a spot on the list.

Now time for the Top 20! It was tough separating these ones! #20 - Borthwick Bay at MacKinney Highlands by Brian JeffordsTheme: HighlandsDate added to database: August 10, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16118This course hosted the President's Cup over on TGCTours this year. Driving accuracy is at a premium on this course, but those that can find the fairway can score well. A great test. #19 - La Vallee Glaciale by Adam BenjaminTheme: BorealDate added to database: February 20, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5651Another Arctic Fury course gets on the list with this stunner. The atmosphere really got me with this course..a challenging boreal course with some very unique holes. #18 - Tye Dunes by Patrick YatesTheme: HighlandsDate added to database: December 18, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17459I was up against this course during the HB Design Contest. I ended up beating this course with my Whonnock Lake course. I thought my course was better at the time. Looking at the finished products however, Tye Dunes blows my course out of the water. Great use of the new textures to create a one of a kind course. #17 - Royal Ballylough by Rod SimpsonTheme: HighlandsDate added to database: July 24, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16035I'm not usually a fan of links style courses, but Rod's (rod81simo)'s Royal Ballylough changed my mind. A great track that features some tricky tee shots and tough greens, creates a great test of links golf. #16 - Eighteen at Strawberry Plains by Todd DriverTheme: DeltaDate added to database: August 23, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/16167Todd (drivert) makes some amazing courses, but this one stood out for me. Large greens and fairways, but a course still willing to put up a fight, Strawberry Plains is a treat to play. #15 - Gator Hole G.C by Rich BankerTheme: BorealDate added to database: February 3, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5558This course really wowed me early in the year. How Rich was able to take the boreal theme and make it feel like you were playing in Florida was truly unique. This course looks easy at a glance, but can be punishing if you aren't hitting it in the right spots. #14 - Loa Pali Golf Resort and Spa by Dario LoganTheme: TropicalDate added to database: June 11, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/12934In my opinion, this is currently the best tropical course in the game. There is a stretch of holes on the front nine on the coast that are the most visually striking in the entire game. It's not all about looks though, as Loa Pali has some teeth..and alot of places your ball can be wet if you aren't careful. #13 - Gewella Golf Club by Mikael ThunbergTheme: CountrysideDate added to database: February 17, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5637Currently ranked as one of the most liked courses over at TGCT, Gewella gets a spot high on the list. Mikemike3000 creates another gem with this one using his same style; fun, visually striking, and accessible to all skill levels. #12 - University Links by Patrick YatesTheme: CountrysideDate added to database: June 12, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/12942The host of TGCT's Open Championship this year, University Links came out of nowhere, and established Patrick (pyates) as an elite designer. Using influences from different links courses (specifically Chambers Bay), he was able to create something special. Also, those train tracks he created alone had people talking for weeks. #11 - The Shakespeare, Statford- Upon Avon Hotel & Resort, England by Chris BigginsTheme: CountrysideDate added to database: January 31, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5544It was a quiet year for one of TGC's most prolific designers (Biggins) , but he created a masterpiece early in 2015 with the Shakespeare. Expertly crafted holes and incredible planting had this course miles ahead of all others early in the year. We can only hope for a few more from Biggins in 2016.

#10 - The Happy Yeti Golf Resort by Bryan CowlesTheme: CountrysideDate added to database: January 29, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5531This course is classic Dr. Yeti. Exciting, accessible holes and gorgeous scenery made this one a course I will not soon forget. #9 - The Marina G.C. @ Jensen's Landing by David JensenTheme: BorealDate added to database: January 8, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4420Considering how this course came out just 8 days into 2015 and I probably haven't played it again since March, this course has stuck with me the whole year. Jensen is one of the most meticulous designers in the game and the hundreds of hours of work he put into the Marina G.C. did not go unnoticed to me. To this day, still my favorite fictional boreal course. #8 - Chambers Bay, WA by Craig LeVasseurTheme: LinksDate added to database: June 16, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/12961Craig (theclv24) absolutely nailed Chambers Bay with this beauty. I played this course more than a few times around U.S. Open season and fell in love with it. #7 - McKee McGrodo by Jeremy BlaylockTheme: HighlandsDate added to database: July 10, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/15981A tastegw classic. I really enjoyed all his courses this year, but this one stood out above the rest. Some gorgeous views and some creative and exciting holes made this course a memorable one. #6 - TGC Players Club at Logan Farm by Dario LoganTheme: CountrysideDate added to database: January 31, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/5541This was my favorite CSU course this year. There was nothing overly beautiful or stunning about the course (although it was fantastic to look at), but it had 18 memorable, fun, challenging golf holes that had me coming back more than a couple times this year. #5- Hoodoo Hills Remastered: The Gold Course at Yeti Gorge by Bryan CowlesTheme: DesertDate added to database: June 24, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/13972This is the only desert course to make my list, and Hoodoo Hills made my jaw drop. One of the most creative and beautiful courses around, Hoodoo Hills is a treat. Just make sure you keep the ball in play... #4- Bison Run by Brian JeffordsTheme: CountrysideDate added to database: January 22, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4483I find myself going back to this course again and again. Bison has a classic feel and just reminds me of playing golf on a mid-summers day. Some outstanding and well constructed holes made this one of my most memorable of 2015. #3- The Breakers by Rich BankerTheme: DeltaDate added to database: December 10, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/17441Rich slid this course into the database right before the new year ended and it became and instant favorite. My favorite fictional course of the year, in fact. Attention to detail, superb hole design, and outstanding use of the tough-to-use delta theme makes this a must play. #2- Magnolia National/Magnolia National 2016 by Craig LeVasseurTheme: BorealDate added to database: January 4, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/4414Now, I'm sure alot of you will be not happy with me putting this at #1. Magnolia National is perfection. theclv24 created something that will live on in this game forever. I have probably played Magnolia 20 times this year and I love it more and more each time I play. Craig has also released the Sunday pins for his brand new 2016 version of the course. This is not really #2...I really have a 1a and a 1b. #1- Whistling Straits Sheboygan, Wisconsin (Overseeded) by Craig FreyTheme: LinksDate added to database: March 28, 2015TGCTours Database Link: www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/8720(picture of regular version) My favorite course of the year is Whistling Straits. I love this course in real life and prayed that someone dedicated (and crazy) enough would take this on. I can't even imagine how long it must have taken to craft each of the almost 1000 bunkers on this course. A phenomenal recreation and his new texture Overseeded version brings the look of Whistling Straits to life even more. Well, that's my top 50. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Again, please don't feel bad if your name isn't on here. I played a ton of excellent courses, but some I simply forgot about. And I'm just one guy that plays the game. I encourage people to make their own lists and share them!

10 quality additions to that list. As a player we are spoilt, as a designer when many of these courses came out the bar just seems to get raised and producing a top course becomes even more daunting
