not playing here this week but wanted to get a round in after work and snuck in a 54 for R1. What's the internet slang for a bragging post that's pretending not to brag? Because I think that's what I'm doing here

I'm not so comfortable (never been on practice rounds even) on this course, and I don't know why Not so happy with my official rounds - especially R1 where I had a 91% shot and a consequent bogey. Anyway I kept a certain consistency carding a 60 and a 61 for a -23 in the first 2 rounds. Should be enough to play the week-end...but the top 10/15 could already be gone

62, 60, 64, 65 -37 total.. Dissapointed this week... Felt my score was below average once I had finished, given the course difficulty which was pretty much a birdie fest which is now proving very evident I don't know why but I don't seem to place well in tourneys that have courses that get torn apart.. Oh well.. All this being said for Tom to shoot 61 under is still a fantastic tally..told you Thomas a number of weeks ago it was only a matter of time till u got your mojo back as I say I stuttered over the 4 rounds.. Only round 2 n 3 felt like I did ok...round 1 I missed too many putts but the round that done me completely was round 4 where I played terribly. No excuses.. Well done to the 80% of you who are tearing this course apart and good luck to those of you yet to start your tourneys.. I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy, peaceful and prosperous 2016!!

61 and 60 for -23 after two rounds. I suppose I will squeak by to play the weekend.

Putting let me down again this week as it does most weeks, putts lipping out and sliding past the hole. I had one putt this week from around about 100 feet and I thought it was going in but missed by inches.

56, 58, 61, 58 (-55) for me. I hope I submitted rd3 correct. Now that would be something Sure it is an easy course but still, that -61 from Mr.Humphries is some exhibition of greatness. Well done, Tom! I enjoyed playing this year with all of you and wish you all the best and good health in 2016 including your families and loved ones. Cheers.

Great score I think overall it's a fairly easy course BUT if you underestimate it too much it punishes you. Some greens if you miss the right lane for just a couple of feet you'll find yourself with double sloped putts from the distance.

Needed a decent week after the disaster i had in the last comp, luckily i did. First comp in season 2 where i have managed 4 solid rounds. -17 -15 -14 -15. -61 total. Hopefully a top 25, just have to see how it pans out. Oh and a big thanks to my caddy this week he might of just earned himself a payrise. Haha top 25 great shooting Tom, I hope it holds out for you. You've been knocking on the door lately and this time it might open for you? It played out exactly how I thought that it would for me. As soon as I realised what course I had signed up for (I need to plan ahead more instead of just signing and not thinking about it) I knew that I would struggle to make enough putts to contend. I shot 57,58,62,58 for a -53 finish. I played terribly in round one but managed to hole out 3 times for eagle to keep my round going. I missed several putts of under 10 feet and didn't play smart golf at all. I went for carries when I shouldn't have and played attacking shots at the wrong time. The course is really nice, very enjoyable to play. But I just don't enjoy having to birdie nearly every hole to have a chance of winning. I'm hoping that my score might sneak a top 5 finish? Good luck to those yet to finish

Just finished my rounds:
1: -10 (62) 2: -11 (61) 3: -11 (61) 4: -8 (64)
For a -40 total.
Really disappointed in my final round, especially coming off the back of the very high wind 3rd round. Felt like I lacked concentration and left myself silly putts. Its a solid score, nothing more than that though. Good luck to all!

Being a former pro golfer and still playing near scratch, I always chuckle when I now play and have an off day, players with me who have never broken 80 are wondering why I'm so upset shooting 75. It's all relative isn't it? I'm reading these posts and Bradley says he played poorly shooting 57 and meanwhile I'm like my real life golf buddies. I'd kill to have a few of Bradley's off days! LOL. What a great game this is! Happy New Year all!

What a great game this is! Happy New Year all! Haha, I agree. That's the thing, it's all relative I'm no slouch when it comes to the real game, I have the odd good round when my back permits it. But I know which version of the game that I'd prefer to be really good at, and it's not the video variety I'd much prefer to be bemoaning the fact that I'd missed several real life birdie chances and only managed a paltry 75!
