Pardon my formatting and grammar. On my phone now. Cant see what im doing lol My point kind of stands though. Cca is not full enough because its too hard to move up. More are moving down than there are up CC seems to be a little broken. Too hard to progress, too easy to be demoted. My slight tweak would be. 1-do away with strikes. Bring back cut line, miss cut 3 times in a row---demotion. 2-shoot -40 or better--promotion to tier above 3-win--promotion to tier above 4--possibly ease exemption rules a bit 5--lower tiers possibly ease promotion standards A BIT6-just promote me to PGA to get rid of me in CC---totally selfish rule change here lol 7-Bacon I'm just throwing out ideas here, not really caring where I am currently at. Don't think my play as of late warrants me being much higher than I am, but would like to see a light at the end of the tunnel and a possible chance to move up. Kind of hard when -40 is the winning scores and covers most the top 10-15 places on the leader board. In this case the problem is not cut or demotion. If there are less than 70 players who submit scores there would neither be a missed cut. I second the bacon, for sure

I had to get back on my computer. I don't know how people use these stupid little phones to communicate on a forum lol.
Ok, to my point. I admit I can not articulate myself to well in a text post on a forum.
What I'm getting at in my original "tweaks" post last page is. It seems its too hard to progress to higher tiers, so CC-A is less than 70. Some may be promotions to Web, which is great, some may be because people are not moving up the ranks quick enough to fill the void. So I suggest, easing promotion criteria a bit, and stiffening demotion criteria.
Im my warped mind, I would rather see CC-A and CC-B packed, a log jam so to speak of people trying to get into Web. The lower tiers having considerably less people in them. If someone in CC-E shoots +587 and doesn't earn a strike, hey cool for them, they are already in the second lowest tier and no harm done.
Now all this talk of bacon, now I'm feeling the urge to go to the grocery store in a bit to get uhmmmm bacon.

Now all this talk of bacon, now I'm feeling the urge to go to the grocery store in a bit to get uhmmmm bacon. I like some of your tweaks...and I like bacon. Here's my 1st proposal....a floating demotion line. example: CC-A has 70 entries....CC-E has 125 entries...CC-D has 140 entries etc If a player in CC-E,D,C,B earns a strike for finishing 70th and lower and actually beat the score of the lowest finisher in CC-A,B,C,D not earning a strike...CC-A,B,C,D player gets a strike as well. Auto promotion for a win.
Leap Frog exemptions example: CC-D winner has a lower score than the CC-C winner...auto promotion to CC-C for the win...but also earn a Leap Frog exemption to CC-B for one week. Any finisher in the top 10 with a lower score than the tier winner above them..also earns a Leap Frog exemption.

Why not for a period of 4 consecutive tournaments calculate the average scores of every CC player and then re-sort the tiers based on those average scores?
or
Everybody play through Q-School again, a bit harsh but people seem to want these tiers sorted

I think there should have been a reshuffle then from the master leader board. In my opinion there wasn't enough of a carrot dangled for EVERY CC player. It wasn't a true Q-School because 99% of the players landed exactly where they started.

Love the suggestions but just keep in mind any tweak requires Tim to change the code. He was very busy with real life stuff the past 2 or 3 months so we could only do minor tweaks.
He's back now and I've got some plans for the CC tour that I'll try to squeeze in. He's busy with a project right now that has higher priority but we'll get things back in order.

Glad to see you are receptive to our "tweaks' to be honest I had misgivings saying anything myself. You guys have a full plate and the signal to noise ratio in the CC forums I'm sure out weigh the other forums just because I think there are more of us, not as skilled and probably more vocal especially when things are going bad for us. Thanks for being receptive to our musings and dont work Tim too hard, us guys named Tim need a break every once and a while..or is that the other way around..think the kids think its the other way around. Got me all mixed up. Love the suggestions but just keep in mind any tweak requires Tim to change the code.
