Your WGR (3.36) is taking from a complicated weighted average of your points, whereas the 132.9 is the sum of your points since a particular date. Hopefully that's right, someone can correct me if it's wrong.

I understand how the WGR works, I think I joined the tours on the opening qualifing week. I just wanted to know how 3.36 WGR became 132.9 Euro List points.

Your regular WGR is a weighted average over a certain timeframe with a higher weight on recent events. The Ryder Cup Euro list is a cumulative sum of all the weekly WGR points (not averaged) you have earned since 9/3 in all qualified WGR events. Hope this helps. Thanks, Tim

Still none the wiser though. Haha Is the list going to get bigger. It currently shows top 26 ? Not being a "top player" I like to see my progress, even if it is mid table.

So we have the Ryder cup page, will there be a similar President's Cup page for those like us (Doyley) who are Canadian and presently cant qualify for the Ryder?

Well, we'll have to arrange that at the end of the season like we did with the Ryder Cup last season then

Ah.. I see.. It's because you took quite a bit off during the timeframe.
The EURO Ryder cup points start for any event after 9/3/2015. You took quite a few weeks off during this timeframe.
You are currently 35th on the WGR list for that time. You are currently 34th on the Euro Points for that time.
Remember, the Ryder cup places emphasis on recent play. That's the thing with the popularity of our site, most play every week, so if you miss some weeks, you could fall behind. These points are not averages like the WGR, they are cumulative points.

Makes you wish the WGR took into consideration long lapses

Just for clarity, can you still qualify for European team if all you play is PGA Tour events?
