Your prize as the best placed Webber is choice of one of the 4 courses on the comp to be our first major or you can pick the theme of the course for our major! No worries, it was the right choice. A few of the other should definitely be added as a tour event though.

Whoa - another Yates? That's rare for me to run into one. Tye Dunes is the right call. Of course, it's the one that ate me alive too...so that will be fun

If you go in blind, as with any firm/fast course it will likely eat you up. If you put in a practice round or two ahead of the tournament you'll hopefully see where best/safe to land to give yourself a shot at birdie or easy par. Of course the theory is always easier than putting to practice.

I live in the US now but there has never been a consensus in our family when the Yates arrived here. I've actually had more success going in cold on courses. I used to practice a lot and would see my scores drop 5 or 6 strokes when it came to tournament time. But Tye Dunes I may need to form a game plan around for sure!

Might have to retract my earlier statement on not be related I have that as well at times where I play great with no practice rounds and on another course my scores gradually go up round on round. I guess as you say, it depends on course
