I don't always know where the cut will end up from week to week. But there is a good chance it will be one stroke less than my score. Another missed cut by 1.
Off to the practice range

Did something weird. 1) Made a cut after missing four straight. 2) Went sub-60 because I actually *gasp* made some putts in the final round. MAYBE this is the confidence boost I need... (still a mile out but nice to know I can sort of put a round together from time to time)

Hi Yeltz it was Ralph Mitchel in round two. if you go to leaderboard and select Player stats then look for aces.
He's on XB1 - Sandwich Packer

Finished my last 2 rounds this morning and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome I carded a 58 (-12) and a 60 (-10) which will land me at -37 for the tournament. I lipped out couple of putts here and there (who doesn't) but I can't really complain about anything. Maybe just about the silly bogey in R1 that was choppy-swing related; but then I also had an hole in one at #9 in R3 to balance things out In the last few days I got more and more confident with my game, especially on the greens. So after hitting a wall couple of weeks ago, now I'm starting to get back on the improving track and it feels great. For that I have to thank all the guys that streams TGC here, starting with edi_vedder , @swaeromotion , smurfblade88 , DoubtfulObelisk . Since I started TGC back in July I learned so much just watching you guys play....I owe you! Especially the IRLAND vs ENGLAND matchplay - after that I kinda got some "intel" ( ) that I immediately used with great benefit on R2 and R3 of Beijing Smog Classic. So I have off course to include SMIFFYLFC79 and ijs1543 to the list of guys that really helped me just by streaming their game. Hats off to this amazing community

Finally, I actually played a tournament where I improved every round I shot 59,58,57,55 for a -51 finish Having made the error of practising the wrong course all week(I was practising Birkdale not Lytham) I came into this one unprepared, I made bogey on 1 and was sitting at level par after 7, having just missed for birdie from 4 feet on the par 5. I then reeled off 11 birdies in a row to turn around what was becoming a poor round. After that I played solidly for the rest of the tournament. I was feeling the heat coming down the stretch and was at -49 with two to go. I holed a really good putt on 17 from 15 feet which had a ton of break on it, that allowed me to relax on 18 and I knocked it stiff there. If I missed on 17 it probaly would have been a different story on 18? A wonderful course, set up perfectly, I think it's right up there with the best links courses in the game. I still can't believe how low everybody is going here? It doesn't play easily at all, you really have to work for your birdies. I guess if the wind was up like it was for a few holes in round two I think? it would be a different story. Good luck to anybody yet to finish and bad luck Tom, that is horrible when something like that happens, especially in round 4.

Where is the dislike button.
Mr Garcia, what can I say, but seriously great work there.
I'm not sure what I need do to beat you guys, but I will keep trying to get this monkey off my back.

Played one round on this course and did not do well. Wanted to get it out of the way but it went better than expected until this happened in round 4. If this had not of happened i would of tied ian -49 and possibly had a chance of winning as i birdied the last and he did'nt. Missed the 16 putt for par aswell but cut the vid short. Comp just got better lol. Forgot to post round 2. Bad week

t2theb2 Oh dear Tom As you said, bad week. Good job it's not real money, you can just pretend that you took the week off That's why I always post my rounds as soon as I've finished them, otherwise I would probably forget as well. Even then i am double and treble checking so that I don't enter the wrong score.

Just could not remember what my second round was and the fell asleep thurs after a long day and forgot. Bit of a shame as im chasing gilbert and harris in the rankings and none of the 2 were doing overly great after 2 rounds of the pga. Allways next time
