Definitely not getting to A with last weeks score so here goes.
Well that was... interesting. I do not think I have ever been so angry and had so much fun inside one tournament. The course is unbelievable, a real challenge. really well thought out and tough as hell if you get it wrong. The greens though, good lord I have never been so scared playing some approach shots in my life, one second you are next to the pin thinking tap in, then it either keeps rolling for about 10 yards or spins back off the front. 6ft putts 4 inches downhill will forever be giving me nightmares now. Many shots saved and left behind so I cant complain... I think. I'm still struggling to get to grips with what I assume is a new swing mechanic, definitely feels so much more forced now; I cant seem to effortlessly pull back and push the stick as it feels like I have to pull and hold back for a long time and then force it forward quickly (Which for me cause a lot of slices and pulls).
I'm super pleased with the score I put up, especially after the nightmare start I had to round 3, going on to have a monster back 9. Then having a really tidy finish on the final round has given me a score that I don't think will get me top 10 in B but kinda solidifies my progress to date. Good luck and learn to swing your putter verrrrrrryyyy gentlyyyy!

Im just assuming there was an update, since I played St Lorin 2 weeks ago, Ive noticed the swing is not the same. From literally never going below 100% with a comfortable swing, Ive had to change it entirely as I frequently get 95% or below using my old one. Feels really forced now.
I'd say -40 will be right up there, really close if not the winner. -45 wins this week and the course is a lot harder this weekend IMO. The greens are ridiculously sloped and fast :L

Well lads I've been reading , the reports.. And don't know what to think! After two pretty bad tournaments in a row .. Failure to get my promotion on excemption in cc-a , then a poor event tied 30th ish last event.. I'm not sure how this one will go. I'm hearing it's the most beautiful course ever.. But has a bite worse than a shark that's been on a hunger strike! Greens so fast you could ice skate on them, and grass so lush you want to grow it in your back yard! Sounds like we got an Augusta -ish kinda place coming up. I'm exited - scared - nervous - and praying that my controller is free of slices n bad percentages! I'm headed to the practise tee now to see what all the talk is about! Let's hope the Psi forged are spinning good after the groves have been cleaned and the mud removed from them... Sounds like I'll need it ! Also sounds like I may be back here soon with my hopes dashed, my brain scrambled and my controller smashed against the nearest wall! But let's hope not! Lol

Absoultely atrocious 1st round performance, birdied the 1st, par the 2nd, have an 8 foot eagle putt on the 3rd and 3 putted. Round went downhill very quickly from there on in. Somebody switched my putter for a sledgehammer when my back was turned. Finished with a 76, missed so many fairways, greens and putting pace was all over.

Ive played 5 practice rounds at this course so far. My expierence goes as such. 1. For asthetics its awesome! great looking course! most scenic on the challenge circuit so far in my opinion. 2. My first round was with probably average wind of 12mph, greens were fast! was a large adjustment from this weeks. Was a little taken back my some of the approaches with fast squirly like greens. Shot E for first round. 3. Once had a look and feel for the course I was able to score -4 to -9 next 4 rounds. Have to slow down when playing a course like this and choose the pins to attack. can get in trouble getting greedy on courses like this. 4. With all that said, play as mant practice rounds as you can, use first round to get "feel" of everything, then think about scoring the course after that with taking what the course gives you without forcing shots and limiting unforced errors.
This is all just my take on this course after 5 practice rounds, Ill be playing the CC-A on a sponser exemption as a placed 4th on this last tournament.

Mega annoyed.. Grind it to -3 after 3 then this : Hit fairway on 4. And get a rough lie.. Can't reach green from fairway because of it n make +2 on that hole. Will post a pic in a minute with me in the middle of fairway and the game saying I'm in the rough!!!!

Well what a grind.. Still got the hooks.. Had to revamp entire swing..which paid off for most part in round 4 and shot -11 All I can say is when the line is somewhat straight it goes close provided right calculation.. For 2 tournaments n 3 round been dealing with mini pulls n slices.. Not out the cone.. But shot then goes 20 feet instead of 6 or 5 feet. Ie it still curves a bit. I thought the idea of the cone was anything in it is considered a straight shot. Anyway enough complaining . The venue- second to none great course awesome looking and the right amount of trickery to make yo sweat but be realistic. Def had to grind out short game.
My scores; -2. , -4 , -5 , -11 See what I mean by swing change.. Not fool proof by any means but least wasn't every shot I hit left n right.
Total- -22 under n 2nd on Xbox for now.
Was kinda cool I had euronacho whom I played with in first round .. Play through.. N could see him playing on other holes as I was playing mine... Personally I love it.. Makes game feel like there are other groupings on the course .. Not just mine.. Wish it happened more.. Only happened once before.. Am I missing something how do you make this happen all the time .. Have other live players playing course when u are.. Anyway that was awesome lol
-22 I don't think will do much good from a top 10 perspective but u never know. -- some big names (on the Xbox) had played already.. Ant murry , p1sell. Southern something rickenbacker.. Or something lol... Sorry prob destroying your user names .. But I always see u on leaderboard top ten on Sunday and am like ... All right ant murry or southern blend is at this score.. Your my bench marks! Bit like looking at the leaderboard n seeing ok Rory Mclroy just went -5 under. U know wat I mean. I'll stop rambling !
Well I left a lot of shots out there.. Had more .1 inch puts than I care to discuss.. But hopefully round 4 signals a turn around. After a great start to the season .. Since the update.. I was struggling and muttering .. Blooming game , I'm quitting till the Xbox is fixed .., and that kinda stuff.. Boy this game reminds me of real golf.. When looking at consistency .. N up n down struggles. Slumps n rises!
Lastly .. Saw on forum we got new themes coming .. And one thing that definately got my attention .. Adjustable rough height , and fairway textures.. This will really let us designers .. Create different looking courses.. I'm thinking boral theme.. With the lime green delta fairways ! Lol. Could be cool.
Oh and anyone know how to post pic on here.. I'll send my pick of me being right in middle of fairway with game giving me 70% rough lie! That was crappy.. So in my head my total was -24 .. I'll be gutted if I miss promotion by 2 shots !

The first hole brings a nice gentle start, it's a hole that should be birdied, it's a hole I made a mess off. With a card in cc-a at stake, silly mistakes like that can cost. I was never going to drop a shot there but should have done better. I did do better over the next couple of holes with two birdies. I did have a chance at three in a row but was very carefull with my putt. It was downhill and could easily have rolled a big distance from the hole. Even though it was a birdie chance, I was happy to take par. Safe play and me don't normally go hand in hand, maybe I am maturing as a golfer, naw, even I see sense once in awhile. I came close to picking up my third shot on the fifth, was just a inch or so wide. The pin positions was tricky so getting close to the hole would have taking a shot of great luck or skill, so par was good. I did go three under on the sixth, so a nice steady start. The seventh brought that horrible sound when you shank the ball, it could have been a lot worse though, a well placed bunker stopped my ball! I could not make the green in two but got close enough for par. I dropped my first shot on the eight, a poor par put that edged the hole, disappointing to be honest, should have played that hole better and two under was how it stayed for the front nine.
The back nine started with two tap in birdies before I forgot the green speeds on twelve, I hit the ball way to hard, it was a terrible mistake that cost me a shot. I just lost focus for a second and bogey was the result. I settled my nerves with a good par on the next hole before getting the shot back on the fourteenth. I can at times take a little while to recover from a silly mistake so was happy with my response. A couple of pars followed, did not really give myself birdie chances but not going to complain, found myself behind trees twice and played good shots to get around them, the wind was making things difficult and all pars were welcome. I played a good tee shot on seventeen which gave me a great birdie chance which I gratefully took. I finished off with another good shot to the green for a six under final score.
I think the score fairly reflects my round. The two dropped shots were silly mistakes which I was rightly punished for. Eight birdies on the other hand was good going in at what times were tricky conditions. I enjoyed my self out there, it was a good challenge, the first rounds winds just added to it. If a player finishes in the top ten, they will have earned that cc-a card and we can not ask for more than that. Hopefully as the season moves into the new year, we will see more challenges like this. It nice to score six under and be happy with it as opposed to anything under double digits being a bad round. Have fun out there guys.

Well in a practice round last night I shot a -12......followed by a -2. So it seems like this course can be your best friend or maybe even your worst enemy!!!!
