The 3 hole showcase tour is a place that any designer can show off 3 of the best holes from their courses. Only showing the best courses off means that you always get great holes to play. Tours are going up all the time, at around 1 tour a week. If you enjoy a course, why not go out and try the 18 hole version. When each tour ends I post up the scores aggregated across all 3 platforms. Original link to HB thread is here where you can find full course details... Cheers guys. As several have pointed out to me with each 3 holes comes a different course with different conditions... It's a great way to practice playing in varied winds, firmness and green speed. If I can keep it going it can also be an easy way to go straight so some new courses, without having to find one on the forums, as there will always be a couple of these tours under tours in game... Just search 'showcase'... So easy to remember |

First, thank you, pyates, for putting the showcases together. Playing the showcase was a lot of fun, and the quick change of venues provided unique challenges. Just when you became accustomed to soft-and-slow, you are faced with (relatively) firm-and-fast. Then, right when you adjust, it's changed again.
As one of the designers whose course was included, I can't say enough about how helpful it was to compare the look of my own course against the looks of other great venues.
Some critiques: the first showcase was REALLY long, including 14 different courses. I know everyone wanted to be included in the first one, but going forward, I think these should be limited to 6 3-hole courses.
If possible, be selective about the courses that are grouped together. It turned out that my course had an extremely similar look and feel to another course included.

No worries, glad you enjoyed it. I hope as a result your course had a bit more interest as well. I have to agree that it was too long however. 6 is about the number I'm thinking we will go forward with. As you say for the first go I wanted a fairly good number. Will likely post another tour tonight. We have 4 courses plus I will probably throw one of mine in again to make up another slot. I will be attempting to post videos playing through each as well as writing hole by hole reviews. Should be good . Still 2 weeks left to play tour #1 |

Tour #2 is now live... The tour is console friendly so in the gap between now and the update there are 5 courses here people can go for . Played these. Nice change of pace and interesting tempo. Like to see more than 15 holes per outing though. Tough to build any momentum and separation.
