From winning in CC-C in week 6 I've managed to get 4th last week to have a bash in CC-A this week!
I played the tour last night, can't remember my round scores but I finished with -37. There were a lot of putts that lipped out, quite a few shots didn't register 100% (PS4) which didn't happen on the last course for me.
1st and 2nd rounds were pretty windy, my front 9 on the second round was pretty disappointing but a good back 9 saved my scorecard.
Round 3 is the birdiefest round. Hardly any wind, favourable pin positions (mostly flat on my putts).
Round 4 was tough. I'm pretty sure I finished with -6 on R4. The pins are in evil places, so unless you are exceptional at putting or get close then don't expect many birdies.
Not sure if it will be enough for a top 10, but I am hopeful that it will be enough to keep my stay in CC-A.
Good luck out there and remember your wets for round 2.

Whoops, a DQ for me as I didn't record my round scores down and didn't enter them correctly for round 2.
Lesson learnt, if I play before the tournament has opened for scoring I'll write the scores as I go!
Good luck to the rest of you and hope none of you mess up the basics like me!

Ahh, man and you had a really good score as well... I'll try to put in my rounds today or tomorrow. Did two practice rounds and they went well, but this course feels like a little of a birdie fest and that usually is not good for me at all... Probably I'll be back in CC-B for next week, but you never know

What a strange tournament for me. First round shot a record 58 but quickly fell apart after that. 58, 66, 69, 67 for a total of -28. Just couldn't get a rhythm going after that first round.

Well I am back in CC-B next week. Silly mistake with a double whammy of wasting my sponsor excempt chance.
Hopefully I will have a good score next week and will be back here trying in a few weeks.

mick i unsterstand, i shot a -9,-3,-8,-5. was -9 after 11 in 1st round but had lip outs, ball running off green at back, still my best first round. 2nd round, was a disaster, nothing went right. 3 was easier and 4th round was very tough. finished -5 but had 3 bogies. -25 is ok for me but will never challenge sadly, have to be more consistent or will never earn a sponsor excemption.

Thanks to all of you for playing this week and to those of you who gave to help the cause or told others about it so they could give.

I actually had two putts go right over the hole, very strange as it wasn't even fast. I guess it wasn't totally centered. I did do some silly things like trying to get a par 5 in two only to hit the side and go into the water. Weird tiurney though, my first round all my putts were going in. The other rounds close but no cigar. I do think these charity events are awesome, good exposure and helping is always nice.

Hi - I was wondering, if lets say only 60 people enter a CC-A tournament. How does the "finish outside top 70 rule" stand? Does that mean no one would be issued a strike?

So... This was a strange one. Decided to do all 4 rounds in one sitting, as I have little time to spare this weekend. Since this is the first time for me playing on excemption I decided to have a practice round on each set up before playing and as stated above, they went well. -37 through those rounds in low to moderate winds. The overall feel in practice was that the front 9 was easier than the back.
Anyway come tournament I really struggled on the front 9s and had a lot of missed birdie opportunities. I really felt I didn't play very well, but I still ended up -42 and that is my best score ever. Really happy with that. If I just had my nerves in check a little better I feel I could have won this. Sitting 3rd on ps4 thus far and waiting patiently on the end result.
Happy hunting out there!

Also, that means 50 $ to charity with that score.

CC-C is the place to be right now...you can shoot +100 for a tournament and not even earn a strike.
C'mon boys calling the shots..even things out. A player shooting +17 in ANY tier should earn a demotion strike.

I agree. Maybe some kind of auto demotion or auto promotion anytime you shoot so many shots behind the top half or something? I know the people in D shooting -30 should be ahead of someone shooting +17 on C right?
