Here are the pin placements for the week. Round 1: B Round 2: A Round 3: A Round 4: B Wind gets stronger and stronger throughout the tournament. I think it topped out around 15 mph or 16 mph in the last round. My guess as to the average wind per round would be 4, 7, 9, 12 mph. (feel like verifying anyone? ) Unless you've been practicing well into the double digit winds recently, your calculations are going to be off. I know mine were. For the most part, I was hitting short in those high wind approaches. I guess I should have adjusted by decreasing loft. I practiced the Web-A and Web-B course about 3 times each. Of course, wind is always between 1 and 6 mph in practice. Maxed out at -14 on A and -10 on B, I believe. So when I went -12 on the first round, I was pretty happy, especially since I was bogeyless. In the second (and the third) round, I bogey'd the first hole. Very tricky pin positioning on a slope will make your ball roll where you weren't planning. I never topped my first round score of -12 again. That being said, I was fairly content with 95% of my play. Here are my predictions for the week: Winner: -43 Top 5: -37 Top 30: -31 Cut line at -17 after 2 rounds. Good luck to all!

I was also inspired by your latest mouse purchase so I got me a new gamer mouse today (the old one was a basic mouse well warn). I did a few practice rounds on Leelanau with somewhat same results as you so mouse looks promising. Winds were a bit higher for me in a couple of rounds and I do think wind makes it more fun. Good luck everyone.

Oh, and, I hope that new mouse serves you well! I couldn't believe that a sub $10 mouse nowadays beats out a $60 gaming mouse from 2007 (I guess I should have known).

Heres my scores 64,60,62,62 for a total of -36. I think the course played a lot harder than any so far and the wind hit 15mph a good few times and all the greens had tricky breaks. I think -39 is a great score so well done and don't put yourself down coz there won't be many beating that too easily.

(easy for me as I'm still waiting for my second) -36 is a great score as well, you've got me by one.

Cheers thanks pal but it was lucky if it didn't hit the pin dead centre it was gone a mile. I'll take it though coz the amount of times I have been robbed of one is annoying. -35 is a great score too man, fair play to you.I'm telling you it is a much tougher test than the other courses we've played so far what you think? I can see a lot of people struggling with that wind up and a lot of people underestimating the course. It isn't a walk in the park

It isn't a walk in the park Well the winds will certainly bring down the average score across the four rounds by at least 10 strokes imo. At least it did for me. And I feel like I deal with wind a bit better than the average player.

I liked this course a lot. Maybe because I grew tired of the harvest/fall/autumn style. Really blew my first round with a terrible bogey and some awful math. I've got 3 degrees but managed to fumble basic calculations about 5 times. Finished with a 64. 2nd round I put it together a bit better but missed a couple of really frustrating putts. I felt like I should have been -14 but managed -11 (60) instead. Had this happen twice: Freaking Mother Scratcher!I'm guessing I'll just miss the cut or maybe barely scrape by yet again. On a side note I'm playing the CC tournament this week and am leading on the XB1 console so far! Yay for me.....

Thanks for the support guys ... just felt I left way too many shots out on the course to be a title contender this week ... maybe I'm wrong haha

Enjoyed the course greatly, but not the way i played...My long game is in the crapper at the moment. I swear I could judge the wind better before they fixed it,even when it was blowing a gale Haha. Putting has improved, chipping has improved. It's just not showing in the score because of spraying the ball all over the shop!!!!
Mixed bag for round 1: 65 (-6)
2 Bogies,2 Chip-ins and a nice 30 footer for Eagle. Think the cut will be a lot less than the previous few weeks judging by my struggles on rd 1 (I can but hope.Lol)
