-31 for me after 4 rounds. Finished with back to back bogies which was a shame.
Hopefully that will be enough to keep my stay in CC-B this time!

Well my 1st ever tournament didn't finish too well, wasn't troubled too much by the wind in the final round, but seemed to have no putter control whatsoever. Was going into round 3 at level par, having done +3, then -3 in the 1st 2 rounds. Produced an even par 3rd round then started round 4 with a double bogie (inc. a 4 putt!!!!!), this soon increased to +6 by the 10th, then a run of 3 birdies had me thinking I might just pull it back to even before more bogies had me finishing with a final round and final tournament score of +5.
Putting is definitely my biggest weakness. The times I got myself out of position on the green leaving myself approx 40-60ft from the pin always resulted in 3 putts. Just cannot guage how much backing swing for this length of putt. They seem to go 30ft max, leaving just as far to go with the 2nd putt, which then seems to race by the hole. Think I'll play a course and just the 1st hole hitting putt after putt until I get the hang of it. Maybe see you guys next year sometime in that case lol

I found the green's pretty challenging too Hootbleet. I had a few 60 footers that were miles off (usually 3 foot uphill too), and the last round I missed a few putts around 6 yards or less - but the greens were fast in the last round, and the pins were in some tricky places.
Putting is the key to this game, I frustrate myself by sinking 26 yard putts and then miss pretty straight 8 yards putts in the same round.
All good fun though.

It's a putting course and it will give you some feel. Don't get too involved with moving the marker nearer to you or further from you when putting(I don't move it at all or very little forward or back). Once you get the feel down you'll start dropping more putts.

Agree with phlyer, theres quiet a few putting courses you can practice on. Also dont be discouraged with this tourney, these greens were the toughest greens by far that weve seen on the CC circuit.

Will write that one down and stick it right on cabinet next to the computer. I always as part of my pre tournament warm up on game day do either 9 or 18 of the tournament course, then go play an easy one to dial in my drives and irons as I have a natural slice that I cant get rid of, so I have adapted around it. Some days its worse than others so I need a bit of time to dial my drives and irons in a bit. Last week I did a round on your 3'rd (saturday I think) shot a -12, (not like I could have done that when it mattered lol) then I will admit it, I went and played about 14 holes of Little Brook Manor, nice wide fairways to work on my draws and fades whilst trying to get my slice under control. Well.. After a hideous effort in last two events.. I may be back on track.. I changed to a new controller. It's like changing golf clubs..! So let's call this new controller a set of Taylormade psi tour forged.. , and a new M1 driver with a graphite design addi6 .. And I may be back! ... Or making a comeback.. Consistency is back to what I feel it was. No I just need to read a few bob rotella books , and a session on Flightscope... N I'm ready to go. Web.com I'm coming for you .. And nothing will stop me ! Ha ha ha haaaa (evil laugh) ! ... Alright cc-B lads if you could also just take it easy in the next event.. So I don't have to shoot -50 to make it into top 10. That would be great.! lol

Excellent, currently P3 so unless some late magic happens I will be having a cracking in CC-A next week. Also P22 in the charity event leading the way for CC-C players.
A successful week on the course!
Congrats to the two joint top, great shooting, especially on the last round.

A disappointing 66 in the first round followed up with my first tour 59 had me confident after two. Actually it was the first time ever my name was shown on the leaderboard. Round 3 and 4 ended up as disappointments as well. I was 1 under par after 9 in round 3 with a bunch of bad putts, but picked up a few strokes on the back 9 and finished with another 66. My name dropped from the leaderboard yet again. Played my 4th round and my play was even worse. Worst round play wise but the round score was 65. Quit the game feeling I wasted yet another good opportunity for me as for the second week in a row we played a course that suited my play. Practice rounds had me at -38 so I really felt I dropped the ball on this one.
So today I figured I'd look at the leaderboard and to my surprise I'm T5. WHAT!? Was this course harder than usual?
Not sure if its my style of play, but it seems as if the course invites to a birdiefest my end results is top 50 at best even if I feel that I play well. Harder course where I am disappointed with my play seems to earn me a better spot on the leaderboard. Odd. Hopefully this will end in my first top 10.
