I can't believe my measly 68 (-3) and I'm still sitting top ten. Wonder where I'll be when my 63 for round two posts, that 77 round 4 is going to hurt now that I see some scores coming in. Will be a perfect example of how one bad round can destroy a tournament.

I shot a -9 in practice tourney. -8 on the front 9. I was dialed in on front. That back 9 is crazy. I was looking at the hole stats on level B and I think only 8 holes was playing below par.

A better 2nd round of 64 putting me at evens for the comp but looking at those winds for the final 2 I am not looking forward to them

I did bounce back with a 62 in the final round...but I think -30 to -32 wins it in CC-D

You are going to be close, top 10, if not 5 for sure. that round 4 also had winds so that is going to keep scores high. All I can hope for is under 70, before scores started coming in I thought for sure bottom of the leader board, but I'm starting to think mid bottom (if there is such a thing). I'm going to have to practice a bit this week just to avoid a possible 3'rd strike on Eli's, scores will be low there. I played 3 rounds on Thurs, Fri, Sat, (new named ones {tour in the name} setups, think he changed naming since your post last night to correct the par 73) and easily did -9,-7-6, all first time plays. Think I play the Jesus out them all this week. Although I did have a solid tournament..I think my 3rd round 68 will take me out of contention. I did bounce back with a 62 in the final round...but I think -30 to -32 wins it in CC-D

Well boys...here we go with our toughest test yet. Windy wet and wild Hawaii. This course has some teeth. I wasn't fond of it at all at first, but I can honestly say it grew on me and is up there with some others as one of my favourite challenges. Winds are good in this one, it's gonna test us...it's gonna be a challenge Figured I'd "Pave The Way" for all the gang in CC...because..It's how I roll Winds: 9-16mph 5-9mph 10-15mph 10-15mph usual ebbs and flows with the winds. 65-62-68-62
-27Let's see if I can finally get rid of that DQ strike Hanging on at 9th after three. Fingers crossed for a top ten finish.

I got a feeling my 62 in the final round may vault me up the final standings a little. I could get an exemption out of this yet

Congrats Jim & Charlie. Looks like you guys may have a playoff coming up.
Myself I'm still on the surprised side, I may yet avoid a strike with my 77, currently 48'th. Really wish I didn't have that round, would be sitting top 5.
I look at my scorecard and it brings back the horror. In retrospect I should have gone with my 1'st instinct on that hole. 2'nd shot (par 5) I had 76 yards to pin with 14mph wind at my back. It gave me the 75 yard wedge. Gut said to loft it to take some distance off. Instead I went with 55 yard SW and delofted 3 clicks. Figured I could come up short and roll to pin. Wound up in bunker. 3'rd shot made it out, fast green rolled a bit, 4'th shot is where I got hit with weirdness. Knowing its a fast green I slightly tap ball (remember in my rage post way back I was experiencing slow internet, took 5 minutes to even load the round.), right when the putter is to hit the ball the screen freezes for a split second then the ball rockets off the putter, over shoots hole and winds up in fringe. 5'th shot to attempt to make par, being pissed off over the last shot I over power, wind up where I started. And right here is a very clear marker you could draw on a map of sorts where my round was destroyed lol.
And here I sit, stalking the leader board in hopes of avoiding a strike, surprised I'm not already at the bottom. lol

I'm currently T3 Jim the bad news is that you were completely wrong. The good news is you are currently T1 and will be up in CC -C next week on exemption. Congratz and let us know how the play off goes if there is one. I didn't expect to finish top 10 and now I will be anxiously watching the leaderboard to see if I stay there. We could be competing together next week to try and earn permanent C cards. All the best if that is the case and I hope we finish 1 and 2 top exemptions.
