Well gang...I should be on my way to strike 3 and a demotion to CC-E after this one. I called it earlier in the week as I just couldn't get a handle on this course. Just didn't play well at all. Winds are up..but I still see around -30 being the tops in our flight.
Winds:
10-12mph 10-16mph 5-12mph 4-10mph
Some gusts but the usual ebbs and flows
At least I consistently sucked
68-68-67-68
-17
Good luck gang...see you in E next week

I was hoping the winds will be down for this one. Tough course, and ill have to play against the C level this week. No chance but im making a goal of top 25. Anyone know how that affects your overall standing in your tour? If im going to be bouncing between C-D all year how will it affect me at the end of the year when it comes to the playoffs. Im good enough to just get exemptions in D, but not good enough to earn a C card or compete with them. Id rather just stay in D and try to build up my points/money to have a shot at the playoffs.

The following is just a snippet from a post Doyley made about Season 2 for the Challenge Circuit. I bolded the parts about a master money list. That would be a list combining all money earned across CC levels. Match-playThe Match Light Match Play will take the top 64 available Challenge Circuit money leaders (from a master money list) and see who's the #1 match player. You must hold a Challenge Circuit card at the start of the event to participate and accept the invite to play. Challenge Circuit FinalsThere is a 4-event playoff at the end of the season that will mimic the Web.com Tour Finals. There will be a certain amount of Web.com Tour cards (announced at the start of the final event) available to the leaders of the master playoff money list. Promotions and demotions within CC flights will still be active during these events. - The Caddyshack Open (Week 48) - Ben Hogan Classic (Week 49) - EA Sports Memorial (Week 50) - Duff Beer Championship (Week 51)

You mean the weeks 48 through 51? That is tour weeks. Basically all of next September. www.tgctours.com/Tour/Tournaments?tourId=13&season=2016

Course is alot nicer with no wind. Seemed like the greens were much slower than the last few weeks.

( In the lower teirs of CC, I can fully see wanting a sponsorship when in B,A, and Web.) Im able to compete and finish in top 10 pretty regular at D. But when im on exemption I get lucky to crack the top 25. Id rather be racking up money in D all year then a week on and a week off. Looks like im going to be splitting my time a lot between C and D. So I feel like half my season is lost having to play C events with no chance to improve. I guess I gotta get better and start trying to compete with the C level guys.

Well I'm with you at -8 halfway through. Not sure what your pc leaderboards looked like but PS4 showed all tiers doing it tough.

I finished this week at -31. I kinda hope I get the promotion to C. But in a weird way ive enjoyed D. I want to stay in one catagory all season, but instead of a week on D and a week on C maybe ill be better off staying at the mid of the pack in C.

No offence...but the rest of us in CC-D are happy to see 5 players on exemption in C (up from D) at the top of the CC-C leaderboard. Why?..because we won't have to compete with your scores anymore

You guys don't have to worry about me this week, (well any week actually)
Had a pretty bad tournament. Mediocre -1's 1'st two rounds, 67 3'rd round and thats when I should have quit. Loading round 4 took almost 5 minutes with the connection icon constantly flashing, then when I finally get to play, the icon is still flashing, feeling like things are lagging, and start hooking left bad, I never hook left, have a natural slice I cant rid of. Well that cost me a water shot, drop into heavy rough, pitch into more heavy rough, that was either double or triple bogey. And it continued for the rest of the game, shots going all over the place. I ended that fiasco with a -1 total for 4 rounds.
Will be hanging at the bottom of the leader board this one. Oh well. Haven't played a round since and no desire to either. Fallout 4 will take up my gaming time this week, Friday golf day to get some practice in.
Last week lost my strike, this week get it back. Hope to lose it again on the next one but who knows. Maybe HB wants me in E. oR Z LOL

Have you practiced next weeks course yet? Im struggling bad on it.

I managed a -5 once(on the 4.01 setup)....don't know how I did it..but I know I won't be anywhere near that come the tourny.

Ive only played the 4.01 one. I just assumed all 4 rounds would be on it with different pin locations. I dont like the idea of different settings every round. Makes it hard to practice all week on one course then come tourney time its like your playing 4 different conditions.
