That thread over there reminded me of why I don't go there anymore.

That thread over there reminded me of why I don't go there anymore. I fully understand why the thread over there was locked..it was going "Gong Show Mode" in a hurry. I like to think we're a little more mature over here. Well..some of us Everyone has endured this glitch from time to time I believe, It gouged me numerous times yesterday where it was almost to the point of being comical....almost. When this glitch could be the difference between earning a permanent tour card or a win..that's when you start to really question the dynamics of the putting in game.

always been like that , hole and overlayed graphic dont line up on many holes, ever noticed you lip out one side of hole yet ball ball falls thru earth into cup on other side... I can honestly say I have never seen that. you never had a ball clearly going to miss hole , only to have it miraculously drop in the cup?.... i would try to capture video on ps4 of it but replays as often different to what just happened also..

If u press share button and upload video clip it will capture the live footage and not just the replay.

That thread over there reminded me of why I don't go there anymore. Yes I agree Irving, we don't really want to start becoming 'HB Studio's 2' I know we have the clubhouse thread, but picking up on what Doyley said about 'Locker Room', do you guys reckon it would be a good idea to have say CC-A: Locker Room, CC-B: Locker Room etc etc etc, where guys can discuss everything and anything, within reason?

Obvious glitch. Developers need to fix those cup physics....

Yeah it happening rarely in real life golf compared to nearly every round in TGC is comparable I have on average right now at least 2 per round that roll(what it seems like) right over the hole with no ball reaction at all. Could be the difference between a win..or securing a permanent tour card should that average plague me through 4 rounds. That said...it's always been off (hole physics and ball reaction) Just have noticed much more since the update.

On the X-Files flip side.
Was doing a practice round on 18 at Strawberry earlier today.
1'st hole, 2'nd shot it did almost a total 360 around the lip, I am saying to myself "oh great yet another lip out (yes I get as many as you guys lol) but it went in. I thought "something is wrong here"

I have had this happen to me a lot recently. But what has really been happening it the left or right breaker, hitting the edge, then STOPPING, as if it hit the low side of the hole. cost me 3 birdies last night over two rounds I was playing on the PSGL tour.

Yeah I had a ball moving at reasonable speed today hit the outside of the cup, not even going anywhere near over it, and it pretty much stopped. It helped me so I'm not complaining, I would've been about ten feet past otherwise.

Look I would have to say - the put was going at the hole too hard. Because of the length that the ball finished past the hole. Also speed going at it. That's just my personal opinion. I have had my share too tons of them... And yes it's frustrating. Also remember that it is us the designers and course makers that could Poss be to blame. There could be a tiny undulation - in the green that could cause the ball traveling a bit to fast to jump the hole. This explains why it's not every hole but sometimes , or not every hole but sometimes. I think when I see a put not go in at dead pace .. Ie finish hole length even if it misses. Then I'd say hey that's an issue! Remember puts should only roll by the hole a couple inches , And at most 1 foot past. In real life if a ball went over the hole and finished 6-7 or 10 feet past the hole.. I'd kinda expect it to jump the hole also. Would there be a deflection.. Or reaction to the ball...... Not always --- depends on the gradients of the green. In other words - get a ball to stop dead over the hole.. And not drop... Or even roll just an inch or two past and not drop... N I'll be hey that's a big needs fixing. Sorry but I don't think this example does that. As frustrating as it is
