MAJOR complaint about this course.
On hole 9, if you go left, you roll down this hill into rocks and sand. The problem is that the hill is so steep you can't pitch up it. And if you declare unplayable, you get placed in deep sand with rocks in front of you.
This was the first tournament I had a chance to actually win and now because I had to take a 9 on this par 5 (the only more than single bogey I've had to take) I'm completely out of the running to win it. That area should have been declared OB so you have a legit chance to get up and down with just a bogey.
This completely ruined what had been my best tournament ever and the best time I've had yet playing in TGC. Felt good to have a shot at winning for once. Then this...just sucked all the fun out of this.

Sorry to hear that Jason. I see you sitting pretty at no 1 currently. You've certainly earned a win by now. Me, I shot my lowest Tour score ever. A 64 without as much as a single practice round. Feeling rather proud of that.

Hi all I'm really disappointed with myself... Ready to start my first full season, practiced a few rounds and I was always under par with a best of 65...not bad for my level. My target was shooting around par on the first round and try to get better on the following. It looks like someone decided to ruin my evening as I wasn't able to hit straight with the pad, something really weird as I was completely off with my thumbs I kept slicing in an absurd way... result was an 80 (with an 8 due to ball twice in the water at hole 11) and 4/5 putts short of inches. I knew it was really the worst I could have made so I decided to keep playing even if I knew it was dangerous... I restarted my PC and the magic happened: a 66 on the 2nd round and a 70 on the 3rd one took me back to even par; unfortunately the 4th round was suspended due to darkness but I had the time to get a birdie on the 1st hole before the commissioner said that it was "Carlotta's bedtime story" (our younger daughter) and I had to stop and was forced to the clubhouse. I will restart my last round from Hole 2 and 1 under par for the tournament...not too bad after my first round nightmare Have a nice day !!!! Roberto

Roberto tough break on the 1st round score, I've had issues at times with my controller as well...are you using a wireless? Bang out a 62 or 63 in the final round to save face....a tidy 9 or 10 under will make you feel better

The pad is wired so that was not the problem, the only strange thing was that the rendition was not fluid, sort of stuttering even if FPS were over 60 all the time that partly disappeared after restarting the PC; I will investigate later this afternoon and see if I find a clue... 62 or 63 come on I'm not at your level at all I'm just a poor italian where greens are good for penalties and goals, not for holes and birdies (but we are much better at preparing "Spaghetti alla Carbonara" than the rest of the world ) 2 or 3 under par and I will be more than happy BTW thank you for the steamfriendness, hope to reach the level of my friends one day !!!

Hi Roberto, Jim is excellent to play with online and offers some good advice, I've also got you as a steam friend and perhaps we can all meet up and have a live round together.
I can play practice rounds and score well but when it comes to the tourney's, for some reason I struggle, I really need to work on my putting.
Good luck for the rest of the season Roberto. (and everyone else)

(and everyone else) Hi Martin It will be great for me to play live with you and Jim, unfortunately I'm at work now but I hope to find you online sometime in the next few days to practice together... When it comes to tourney's I have for sure more pressure but going from 80 to 70 with similar wind conditions is really unacceptable...especially for how the 80 arrived. I will never blame the game as I do not believe that the code is creating this results but somehow the pad was not working 100% correctly, I don't know if the connection quality is somehow connected to this for sure I should have considered restarting the PC before the end of the round...
