A pathetic first round. After shooting -13 in practice, just about everything that could go wrong did, including a weird bounce on one of the par 3s right into the water, got right behind a yardage marker, thought i was clear but managed to advance the ball a whopping -42 yards and hitting a couple of rocks that I didn't even know existed. Managed an eagle and slumped in with a -4. Round 2 I was better with -11 but a -15 isn't going to make the cut i'm sure so on to next week. Monitor had nothing to do the first round, just a horrid round of bad luck. Ah well. Gl all. Ron, sounds like our rounds closely mirrored each other. I'll buy you a beer at the 19th hole while we wait out our -15 and stare at the cut line. I so think that -15 is not going to make it I'm on a plane to Kuala Lumpur to the CIMB Classic.

That was the slowest 181 or 187, can't remember, greens I have ever putted on. Came up short way too many times. R1) -9 R2) -11
Appears like I won't be missing cut this week. Only missed two all last season, and here I go missing round one cut, Jezzz. It put a little extra pressure on me this week. Would have shot 5-7 shots better if it wasn't for those darn lying greens, lol. Man I get sooo tired of that.

I bet -15 is just good or on the number for the cut, why because that's my number.

It would be nice to survive a cut at -15 but considering my second round was -11 and I have almost always shot -10 or better on that first round, I'm not seeing it.

Well, we rely on two things: Hope, and the art of fermentation.

My second round woes continue as I'll most likely miss the cut again.
63 and 67 (-14)

I struggled throughout, I felt my ball striking was excellent, however my short game was terrible, especially flop shots/chipping/pitching and putting. I'm hoping I made the cut with -17, finished -27.

Two for Two on my yearly goal of making the cut. 4% of the way home. 63 Rd 1. 62 Rd 2. Now I completely blew up on the weekend last week and finished a train wreck 71st. I am currently top 20. Hope to stay in the top 30 for a payday that is not measured in hundreds of dollars.

If you use ghost balls, I played on XB1 this week and I did solid on the weekend, if not great. Add me as one if you'd like.

I played with Cgilb in the first two rounds, and if I can keep close to him I know I am having a good week. Your ball will be the same way. Will do.

There's only one thing you can do worse than miss a cut, and I did it this week. It seems I forgot to register, and didn't realize it until after completing my first round lol. Awesome course... I'll probably go ahead and play the event, as I definitely need to get some practice.

I did wonder where you were J.D. With the new late entry rules you could have got in too!
Anyway, -41 overall for me. Had a disappointing -7 to finish. However, I did have this highlight in Round 2...
