This is my first tournament on Web. I'm looking forward to improving my skills up here. Getting a top 5 to get a PGA exemption is going to be very difficult but it should be fun.

That would be hard enough but they to get your exemption you need to be the top exemption player the week after. I never have 2 rounds consistently good in a row never mind 2 tournaments. I'll be happy just to stick around here, make the majority of cuts an maybe challenge a few times for a win or at least top 5. Maybe promotion to the EURO tour at the end of season 2.

If we earn an exemption on the web, do we get to decide if we use it on the PGA or European tours, or is that set by whatever tour we have setup in our profile?

Yeah, very optimistic but you have been one of the better players. As far as I know it goes on what you have chosen on your profile but only if there is space. You can change your profile now though to be ready if you are optimistic!

Thanks Dean, not too optimistic of the possibility but you never know when it'll come together one round and need to be prepared! You might be up there too if you play like you did at the Championship.
Actually wouldn't mind staying in Web for the time being... there was always so much movement around in the CC's, think it will be fun to all be the in the same place for a while and see some longer rivalries develop.

Yeah, I completely agree with this! I enjoyed the CC tour but the Web tour has some advantages for me. I like that there is a cut and there is some pressure to start well. That's something I don't usually do well with. It adds to the drama of the tournament each week. On the CC tour people would comment all week long and the drama was just checking the leader board if you moved up or down a few spots. This is way more interesting. And you are right about the movement on the CC tours. New players all the time moving up and down. The web tour will have the 10 exemptions each week coming up from the CC-A, but in theory it will be harder for people to move up to the PGA/EURO tours. I've already pegged dh-nufc as my rival. Only because I beat him by one stroke this week - HA!

I agree with you about the cut aspect Yaters. It adds a different dimension to the whole thing. Have a good two rounds early and you can guarantee yourself making the cut, and making some cash.
Is it weird that I'm excited to make fake golf money?

I'm already seeing a few people to start rivalries with and you are right Damon, it will be better here to set up some rivalries as it's mush more long term. My goal is to have a consistent season, make as many cuts as I can and try to get in the top 25 or 30 for the season. Oh and also to beat all of you suckers!!!!!!!

Holy Cow!! Just seen that the guy (Kristoffer Johansson) that I came runner up to in the last CC tournament of the year has posted his first two rounds and encouragingly he is in 107th place. Out of 107!
Wow!
This is going to be a step up for me tonight. lol
