So I went out and practiced and shot a -14, feeling good! Then shot the real thing. Apparently I had no squirt that last round cause it seemed like every shot of the first 9 was squirt.
I played my second round knowing that Sirkowski supposedly shot -14.. hell of a score but get that scorecard buddy! Plan was to try to attack some of the holes early but struggled on the front nine. Had a great back nine birding 7 of the 9 holes with some nice putts as well.
Decided to go for some eagles on the par 5's to see if we could pick up something, hit the flag twice but no drops. I'm confident Adam can birdie those holes to halve them. It all comes down to if Adam can birdie a few of the front nine and if so, we got a chance.
I like that if you go for something and miss, then it doesn't matter if you get a 6 or a 9, just down one. Match play has it's advantages at some times.

And promptly my SSD controller died promptly after taking the first shot of my third round. I hope there isn't any issues but i'm reformatting my main after putting in a new SSD. I should be back up in a few hours. Apparently SSD controllers don't like ball squrit either.

How are you guys liking the 2nd 3rd and 4th pins? I tried to mix up easy and harder location throughout the rounds. Working ok for folks? Anything unfair or stupid?

59-62 to start the event. Hope I cover for my playing partners well here. USA! You wanna slow down with that stuff. I wouldn't mind having a chance in our singles match.

I thought everything was very playable. Actually fairly calm in terms of most pin placements. Enjoyable rounds so far, nice job. Just a couple iffy pin placements but overall a fantastic course. The greens are both enjoyable and frustrating, but that makes it good in my opinion. So many just slight undulations you really have to be sure of your line.

I thought the pins were fine. Not all of them you can stick it, especially a few tight ones downwind with no bounce up room. But one or two of these on a course is fine in my book. It was hitting fairways I struggled the most with

Played my third with Brionne and we both struggled. I had hit -10 in practice before. It is one of those weird rounds that I thought I played well. My distances were right but some squirt got me and i was pin high but 20 feet away. Other times you get it close and putt, the ball goes over the center and somehow keeps rolling. Nothing wrong with the course, those are some mechanics that have been around since the last patch that putting has become much more difficult. The edges are now glass and as mentioned balls that roll right over the center of the cup as if it wasn't there.
Ended up -6. Probably should have been -8 or -9 but had 3 putts that refused to go in.
So if Birch doesn't play .. pull up the score card and see where you need to make bird. At least two par 5s!! GL Crazy or Birch.
BTW Brionne had similar issues so not just me.

Need everyone to get their R3 and R4 completed asap - we need to take down the leaderboard so we can put up R5. Need all scores in prior to that happening. I've pulled scores from the API so you may notice some scores posted that you haven't submitted yet.

Round 5 is now active on the main page - only 24 hours to submit your score. Don't worry about the other three rounds (leave them blank) - just need it to pick up your stats etc from the API for the one round.
Also I can't assign the course to the tournament (that sets the par) so just put in your score and ignore the card saying your shot way over par! Tim may get to it in the morning or may not - he's a busy man playing tennis.

I played pretty well the first two rounds to help get 1.5 points for the USA. I sucked the back 9 against Doyley in singles and he played well, so props to him.
