The names and faces around here are going to be changing substantially over the next two weeks. Any of you CC folks already scoping out the new view?
Any of you web.com'ers planning / hoping on sticking around?
Good luck to everyone on promoting up.

I think the move up, or staying here, is 'out of our hands'. Players are needed in the pro tours. A lot of CC players deserve to be in the Web and congrats to them.

What will the new season bring?

Speaking of the new season, I just tried out the first web.com course for the new season, Ballyntyne National Golf Course.
I scored a +4, non-handicapped score. I wonder if this course was picked to be the first course of web.com to shock all the players that have come from the Challenge Circuit. The greens are faster than any greens on CC in recent months and there are plenty of hazards to penalize mishits.
Having played the last four tournaments of web.com for fun, not one of them did I think played as hard as this one, not by a long shot. Has anyone else tried this course?

I got promoted to the Web the week of the finals but had to miss the first two tournaments so I'm sure I will be back on the Web for season 2. I'm looking forward to playing from the beginning of a season since I didn't join until the end of May.

What will the new season bring? Wonder if the Doak Valley course is trickier than we're giving it credit for. Judging from the CC championship thread, there's a lot of us that were pretty disappointed with our scores. Originally thought my -34 would be on the bubble for top 100 overall, but if you guys are in the same ballpark, maybe the cut-off will be lower than we think.

I think it is trickier. The opportunities to score are there but there are also plenty of opportunities to have bad holes (or at least par holes). If someone is on they will score (See Mr. -53 for example) I think (hope) -30 will be around the cut line for the top 100. It is a little trickier to judge since it across the CC levels. I am excited to possibly have the opportunity to play Web. Can't wait for the new season.

I'm going to guess the Web tour cut will be -33 or better. Can't wait to find out. I think I snuck in with -36. Certainly going to be some leader board watching this week.

I should have been comfortably within range for promotion until an horrific final round. -35 is hopefully enough!

Good luck everybody. I have a feeling -31 or so will get the job done this week, so I'm glad I played well with a -38. Gonna be a huge logjam around -30 so I'm curious how ties will work.

I've had an amazing start, well beyond expectations. -13 after round 1 but it's still going to be tough. I always choke on 1 round or 2. I think the scores are going to be really high, good scoring all way down!!!
I've done some not so quick maths. Taking into account the number of people who have played, the ones who have not played and the scores so far I predict -
There will be 156 players with a score of -32 or better There will be 106 players with a score of -36 or better There will be 98 players with a score of -37 or better There will be 89 players with a score of -38 or better There will be 81 players with a score of -39 or better There will be 72 players with a score of -40 or better
So -36 should get you in but get around -38 to be sure.
Assuming -
15 people per tier wont finish(Looks normal) All 4 rounds will play the same difficulty/scoring Ties will go through

I don't see 81 players shooting -39 or better.

I've made a few assumptions so it could easily be wrong. For example it's possible that a higher proportion of those not posted have not done so because of poor scores.

I'm certain that -36 will possibly be enough to definitely maybe qualify. I need -8, -8, -7 to reach that mark. I am hoping that would be enough!!
