Just got finished. 61,64,61,63 for a -39 finish. I can't believe that I went that low really, considering my lowest practice round was -8! I guess the extra concentration when playing tournament golf really makes you sure, before pulling the trigger? A very difficult course where you had to be very accurate with your landing areas, or else you will be rolling away from the pins. I only made one bogey all week, that was on 18 in round two where I was between clubs. I left the dreaded 15 yarder, I tried to deloft my lw flop, slightly overhit it and left a difficult twelve footer which narrowly missed. Winds were very up and down. I had 1-16 mph in the four rounds. I prefer it like that beacause it keeps you on your toes. The old wind was too easy as it would stay the same or maybe change 1 mph. Now it feels more realistic. Good luck to everybody still to play. Guess I'm half as good as you these last 2 weeks then Brad. Great shooting, can't see anyone else coming close to that. I see on hole #9 in R2 it has me down as having a GIR and 3 putt, strange as I dunked my tee shot in the water after rolling off the bank, re loaded and hit to about 8 feet where I sunk the single putt for bogey. Thanks Chris. Did your ball pitch on the green before going into the water? I know that it should still give you a one putt, but maybe there's an issue when that happens? I read somewhere before that if your ball pitches in the rough then rolls onto the fairway, it doesn't count as a F.I.R. I don't know if that has been fixed or not?

Ball hit the bank of rough before the green and bounced backwards into the water.

I've finished -23 to stick me 2nd on the current PC leaderboard. A mere 16 shots behind Mr Garcia! I would feel better if I hadn't gone into the final round -23 already!

A bunch of players still have to tee off. I would have loved to play this one, instead of the ones who probably get a WD. But I'm only myself to blame for not finishing high enough (and playing not enough Euro Tournaments this season)

Started with Rd1 and Rd2 yesterday, and I'm somehow dissapointed with how it turned out: I actually played two decent rounds without anything really spectacular, but never in trouble of playing bogey on 34 holes. But in both rounds I had two "blackouts", where I indefensible underestimated the (strong) headwind. So I went into the pond with my tee shot on Hole #9 in Rd1 (Double Bogey), and the same desaster on Hole #18 with my approach shot (Double Bogey). Needles to say I could slap myself into the face for that! But enough whining now, here's my score: Rd1: 68 (-4) Rd2: 66 (-6) Could have been at least 3-4 strokes better, because I also missed some easy putts on my first round. Chin up! Let's try hard to do something special in my final rounds! Finished my season earlier today and I'm pretty dissapointed about how things ended actually: Rd3: 68 (-4) Rd4: 69 (-3) Total: -17 You probably all know those kind of tournaments where any round felt like it should have been at least a few strokes better easily than it finally did. Well... this was definitely one of them for me this week! While I'd say the course was absolutely great & not obviously tricked up or anything, it definitely was full of pitfalls. At least for me. I can say for sure that Hole #9 and Hole #18 totally messed up my rounds all over the week. I'm not absolutely sure right now as I don't have all my scorecards available, but on just that two holes, I'm like +8 or so I guess. I mean what the hell? Am I not learning from my mistakes? Seems like I don't... Significant for the tourney that I ended my round (and season) with a stupid Bogey on the 18th hole in Rd4. Anyway... it was a super-exciting experience to play the Tour all year long! And while I'm definitely a little "exhausted" by it, I'm already looking forward to tee off into Season 2!

I thought that heavy rough with no light rough just beyond the fairway of 18, pretty much guaranteed you weren't getting to the green in 2. When i practiced it, i had to actually chip back into the fairway and hit a third shot. Seemed silly since most golf courses has at least a little bit of light rough after the fair way.
Nice shooting Brad!

It's a shame we have that many DNF/WD in the tour finals!

It's a shame we have that many DNF/WD in the tour finals! As I said, I would've loved to compete in this one. I have one WD this season, since I'm on TGCT. That was due to family reasons I could not foresee.

TGCT is far to lenient about the WDs on the top tours in my opinion. Plenty of people who want to move up that dont get the chance and their place is taken by people not respecting the game and site.
WD without reason stated before deadline should be instant suspension for 3+ weeks and repeat offence should mean loss of card/demotion. 5WDs with reason -> loss of card/demotion. Should not have signed up in first place or withdrawn before event.
Golf is a game of integrety and sportsmanship - you sign up -> you play. Simple as that.
This is also why auto-signups, however labor-saving, is not really a good idea IMO. Tricky to find a solution, but how about a dedicated WD thread per tour. If you need to WD, you state your reason in there.

Disappointing thing is that a lot of the guys who WD this week also WD the last 2/3 weeks
Auto registering for the first playoff event (or even the first 2) was fine, but anyone who WD'd without explanation in the couple of weeks should have been replaced by someone just outside the cut off IMO.
