62-59-67-61 for -35. That's currently good enough for joint lead on the XB1, so I'm pretty pleased. Also, I believe I had my first bogey-free tournament. I enjoyed this course quite a bit more than most other people seemed to, but I can definitely see where some of the criticism is coming from.

Solid tournament for me.
After my 63 (-8) in Rd1, I kept staying out of the big trouble(s) and finished the tourney with 62 (-9), 64 (-7) and another 62 (-9).
Total: -33
I showed up 7 times on the PGA Tour, and I made 100% cuts. Pretty happy about that. Looking forward to the next season "over the pond".

Just not good enough this week. 65,59,62,63 for -35 I started terribly 3 putting the first and was sitting at even par through 10 holes. I then managed some sort of decent score by shooting -6 for my final 8 holes. All four rounds were extremely frustrating, a few good shots followed by a few poor ones. My putter which was very good last week was seriously lacking this week. I missed a hat full of short ones and didn't hole too many long ones either. I think the fact that this was a "bonus" tournament where I couldn't gain any prize money or fedex points, probably made me play it in too much of a casual manner? I made so many rookie mistakes this week, not playing the percentages when I needed to and just playing the wrong shots in general a few times. Good luck to those yet to play. Well played Ian, currently top of the leaderboard on PS4. I did manage one very good shot at least this week though

Nice shot Brad.
Started out with a 59(-12) but couldn't sustain the momentum. A very wise person said if you're playing well to continue so I tried but was just off on approaches, leaving more difficult birdie chances. Only managed a 64 for the second round. Played the last 2 rounds last night and shot 63-66. Got frustrated on the back 9 of the final round watching shots land where I wanted only to see them trickle away from the hole enough to catch slopes and end up in bad spots. Played 10-12 at 4 over IIRC. As is typical for me, can't string together 4 great rounds. Kudos to those of you that can, for thou art far better than I.

Too bad it was only a par 4 and not a par 5
Played like crap and struggled to get anything close in rounds 2-4, doubt I'll even make the cut.....if I do I'll probably finish last.

Haha, great shot Funny that, I hit more or less that same shot with the 3 wood as you there. Mine was carrying a too much speed though and power lipped out. I made birdie though

2 very frustrating rnds.
-11 & -8
The BS in this game is really winding me up lately. The game is in a poor state at the min imo.
We really need to put HB under pressure to either remove or refine the ball squirt.
The amount of luck needed to score low on some of these courses is ridiculous.

I have a thing going since I joined here and is a goal.
I have not had a sub-60 round yet in an official TGCT tournament. The third round I was -12 (which if I parred out, would've been a 59), but I had two bogeys near the end. GRRR.

You could argue that -11 and -8 IS low by most standards. HB should think about a mode to turn -11 into -5 and make a -11 something special instead of making it easier to go low..

Yep its low relatively speaking. It shud have been alot lower if the Random in the game didn appear in force. If HB wants scores to go lower they cud make the line in the cone more sensitive thus makin it harder to execute straight shots. This random BS is not the right way to protect courses from bein ripped up. If someone hits a great shot they shud be rewarded not punished imo.

Should have just taken the off week. Had no idea about the course before I played, and while I'm sure there are a lot of people that enjoyed it... and it is very pretty... it's just the sort of course that really irritates me. As it seems to shine a spotlight on some of the weakest elements of the gameplay / physics. Thus, it really plays like a video game. And that's just not my cup of tee.
Probably played those rounds faster than any speed golf round I've ever done.

I neither know nor particularly care whether there is randomness in the game or not, but I see this attitude a lot both here and over at HB. Good Result - All Me hitting a perfect shot Bad Result - Game has "screwed me over" Ever considered that a couple of the birdies you made were as a result of the "randomness" doing you a favour? PS - Not getting into a long debate about it as this isn't the place, just really annoys me when people take to every thread to moan about the same thing. If it's THAT broken in your view, don't play.

Well put Jacko.
On the other hand- if only the aids were turned off all the worlds problems would go away...
Haha - had to do it. Saving the Shelbyville ferry story for later.
