I know it is a bit early but I was wondering if there is going to be a multi pin / tee format for this one? It is a fun course and I may be getting ahead of myself thinking I'm already in, but I want to practice and was wondering.
Thanks,

18MPH second round BRUTAL, I had to take a break after a few holes.. SHeeeeeesh. I actually played it really well - almost shot better than my 1st round! It's tough out there that's for sure Gave up in the fourth round. Some of these hole placement.. wow. If this wasn't the playoffs they would be really unfair. Even with the playoffs.. wow. Some are on the top of a hill that one grid any direction yellow/red rolling down. Had one where the pin was right in the front, barely rolled on to the green and the whole green runs front to back and i was 108 feet away after just barely rolling past the pin. Ended up staying on the green too. Might want to look at some of these before the tournament That being said had a very unexpected hole in one i'll post later. Complete luck. 225 into a 11mph wind no choice but hit a 3wood. Hit the fringe and managed to roll back onto the green and into the hole.. THAT is how steep that green is...:/

Just played the last round in 12mph winds - found no issues with the pins - all were easily 2 putted. I did request that the 18th be shortened. At 520 par 4 it just leaves a 2nd shot that is too long with any type of headwind.

Yeah I felt that was self-evident. Still not liking hole 15.. way too much slope and only a 3-4 grid area to land and stop without rolling down the back and hole 9 for the length of shot, regardless of wind you are shooting a 3iron, 5 wood or 3 wood to get there, no real way to stop and play below the hole. If you end up long the severe slope you are chipping/flopping down is tough.. Might want to suggest to move this tee up so at least you have a chance to stay below the hole.

There is a new D setup published that makes the 18th hole shorter.
(Tour Setup D) or whatever the other three were named - the new one follows same naming convention

I played all four pin sets today...in the fourth round i had winds at 18 mph with those difficult pin placements...OUCH! But come one guys...I think the course is tough, but aren't we supposed to be the group of players that are supposed to be pretty good?? I played through my rounds very quickly, not much thought, and my scores were, -4, -6, -9, E. The first two rounds i had at least one bogey on and they were my fault. You can score on this course. I think it's great the last day the pin's are crazy tough, should make it interesting and make us really think about our shots. Par is going to be a GREAT score on some holes. The only thing I have some issues with is not being able to reach a par 4 in 2. I'm not sure how often that happens in real life, but maybe that should be the only thing remedied
