For those of you that have played this game on multiple systems, which is better or is there a difference at all ? Is the course designer better or the same on the PC version as it is on the PS4 ? Im just curious.. I love this game so much I wonder if I should get the PC version over my PS4 version.. Thoughts ?

Well, I'd disagree, but he's a Flyers fan like me so I'll let it ride.

I have the PS4 version and from what I have heard if you are into course building get the PC. I do not like how the GNCD is set up on the PS$.

I have no problem designing on the PS4. I guess it's just each person's personal taste.

I have the XBone and the PC. Since I got the PC version it is all I play as I much prefer swinging with the mouse. I tried to play the console today and gave up after 5 holes.

PC ... ps4 is OK, But IMHO, PC is better all around.
Providing that you have a very good gaming PC.

I will definitely get the PC version.. I plan on designing some courses.. I've been messing with that since I was a kid.. In school, I would design courses on a piece of paper instead of doing what I was supposed to do.. haha..

If you want visuals that are vastly superior to the consoles, you'll need a strong system. My system can play most games decently, but I have to lower the visuals to 1080p and low on this game to get perfectly smooth gameplay.

Just checked my fps with my system:
Upped resolution to 2560 x 1440, didn't seem to affect frame rates much. low: framerate is pegged at the 60 fps cap half the time, the other half between 50-59 fps. medium: framerate between 40 and 50, 90% of the time low: framerate between 30 and 40, 90% of the time.
I guess it's all about what you're willing to accept.

Is it possible to play the PC version with the DS4? I have a decent rig and wouldn't mind the nicer visuals. Back in the TW PC days I always played 3 click because I just didn't care for swinging by pulling the mouse back and pushing forward.

Back in the TW PC days I always played 3 click because I just didn't care for swinging by pulling the mouse back and pushing forward. I've never tried a PS controller on the pc for games before. I know the 360 wired controller has worked flawlessly with quite a few games on the PC. Tiger Woods 2010 for me on the 360 was always with the 3 click method. But it always felt so unnatural. The forward back method felt more realistic, but I always strayed from it. I've got a strain in my thumb from hyper extending it last month so using a controller is a no no for me right now. Forward back method took a great many hours for me to get used to, but I think I'm finally getting it. You should give it a shot.

All I have to do to use the DS4 on PC is plug it into the USB and it recognises it as a device and TGC "thinks" it's an xbox pad.. To answer the OP, PC is just much smoother. Even on my low-mid range machine I can pull 50-60 fps on medium ish settings. The PS4 version feels jerky as hell in comparison now.

I was most worried if my DS4 would work on the PC version. I may have to give the PC version a try. Will give it a week or so of mulling over.
