Challenge Circuit - Multi-pin Events
The Challenge Circuit will have its first multi-pin event this week (W29). For those of you that don't know what that entails see below for all the info you'll need to get your rounds in properly.
What is a multi-pin event?
It's the same course republished 4x with different pin positions (and sometimes tees/firmness settings) to simulate a 4 day tournament.
Where do I find these events in-game?
They are found in the Play Tour section of The Golf Club.
What is the in-game name of a multi-pin event?
Same as what you're used to finding - tgctours.com-cc-w29
Anything else I need to know?
Yes, it's very important to write your scores down as you finish rounds (on a piece of paper, notepad etc.) As you finish each round there will be a splash screen that shows all your round scores until the final round - once you finish the 4th round you can only view your total score via the tours splash screen. If you need to go back and find your per round scores the best way to do it after the 4th round is to go to Play Round and load up each course (4 pinsets) individually and then where you select ghost balls before teeing off - select the filter that shows your most recent rounds - that will have your most recent scores. I suggest you just write them down.
What are the course names and conditions of each pinset?
Hoodoo Hills Remastered: Tourney Setup 1
Hoodoo Hills Remastered: Tourney Setup 2 (Rain)
Hoodoo Hills Remastered: Tourney Setup 3 (par 72)
Hoodoo Hills Remastered: Tourney Setup 4
Course Settings
Days 1, 3 & 4
Fairway firmness: Firm: ~66% filled
Green firmness: Soft: ~33% filled
Green speeds: Fast: ~80% filled
Weather: Overcast
Day 2 (rain):
Fairway firmness: Firm: ~66% filled
Green firmness: Soft: ~33% filled
Green speeds: Med-Fast: ~50-66% filled
Weather: Rainy
Are there any more multi-pin events on the horizon?
All multi-pin events will be listed in this constantly updating forum thread: tgctours.proboards.com/post/45043/thread
