Unfortunately, real life issues have fu**ed up my week and I was not able to do the review yet. I'll try my best to make it before the weekend! Sorry!

Natural Highlands Golf Course There are some great foundations built here that could really be great golf holes. Unfortunately most of what could be spectacular looking tee shots were hidden by mountains and ridges between the tee shot and fairway or green. Every par 3 was a blind shot over a ridge line to the green. One hole on the front side I think 8 had blending issues around the tee box I believe this is probably just an oversight as all the other tee boxes had light rough around them. The course was good on firmness of fairways and greens no issues there. I think this course could be approved if a lot of the blind shots were removed. The course to me is fantasy and we definitely need fantasy courses to break up the monotony. There were a couple of holes that had some really good planting around the rocks, even though the planting was good it still needed just a touch more variety. My recommendation would be to edit the course and remove a lot of the blind shots. Make the fairway and green visible from the tee and approach shots. A Few blind shots are okay but every par 3 being a blind shot is not fun to play. Make these changes and resubmit and I think it would get approved. I hope this feedback is helpful While twitch still has the video up

Hi. I'm the one who did the review. I admit I'm one of the newly selected reviewers so I had a lot of misgivings about not approving it. Over all I think its a nice course and very good work, but there are a couple areas that stood out to me. Bunkering. Some bunkers didn't seem to have any sculpting, were just flat. Other areas there were bunkers on sides of hills. Hole 3 off the tee the bunkers on the two pointy hills left and right, out of place. Then there is the 4'th hole with the two bunkers that are on the left and right off the tee and the huge slope feeding into them. The bunkers are fine, but that slope is a magnet. I also noticed a couple areas where the bunkers had mounds in them, convex if you will. The wavy fairways, I understand a fairway shouldnt be totally flat, but some had huge left-right or right-left hills, that just feed you into a bunker or into the rough. Other than that the only thing I think needs work is smoothing around some areas mainly greens, 16 for example, wavy around the green. Those were the only things that held me back from approving, and believe me, I played this course earlier today and sat on it for some time debating my decision. I think its a great course and in my mind if these small things were looked at I would have approved it. Just got the email saying not accepted. Can you tell need why? I thought it was my best work yet......

I thought it was my best work yet...... I love the fact that we finally have some reviewers. I would love the opportunity to plead my case. In the wavy fairway scenario, if you look at the real course located in Pennsylvania, the real course that this course took inspiration from. The fairways are crazy hilly. This course was rated top one hundred in the country. As far as the slopes leaving forward bunkers, I played this course many times and never rolled into a bunker because of the slope. I also have never played a course where every bunker was sculpted. Sometimes around the greens when they are elevated, there will be bunkers on the hills. While I do respect your decision, I just wanted to voice my opinion Thanks again for the feedback. Now that I know the expected course I will try to create a worthy course. Thanks

Please don't take what I wrote as I am arguing our being an ass. I just wanted to give you insight as to what I was thinking making the course.

Xdrox,
I am not an expert in course design nor am I a reviewer but I can see you have a lot of passion for designing courses.
I played the first couple holes of this course to see what it was like.
I can see you are improving on your planting. You can still make that look better by lessening the amount of grasses next to each other so they don't look too bunched up. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.
The cart path on the first hole was definitely of needed flattening. It looks dangerous at certain spots. I know it is just a game but if you want to have a course approved you need all areas of your course to look good.
Also the mounds in the fairways are way too large and they need much smoothing. Your idea is very interesting however it could be smaller and get the same effect.
I think the best way to improve your course is to use the soft smooth brushes on every fairway and every green to create a more realistic view.
I'll play the rest of the course and give you some feedback, if you want it.
Don't get discouraged. I'm sure you been told to watch some videos of course creating but that is the best way to improve your craft.

I have had a ton of courses accepted and I thought this was my best. I used the blue brush around all of the greens and fairways. Apparently I still need some practice. I would definitely appreciate the feedback if you would play it.
