Hey there! Found out my course "The Wyndgate" didn't get approved. Would love some feedback as to why so I can either fix or simply improve moving forward. Thanks!

Looks like the reviewer didnt post notes in the running thread, likely just an oversight. I'll run down the feedback and get back to you.

I submitted 2 courses: Landlar Highlands and TGC City Park Golf Course. Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at them yet. I'd love some feedback.

Landlar Highlands - not approved The concepts here are solid, but there's just too many issues with basic polish. Sculpting and surfacing in general could use some work.

TGC City Park Golf Course - not approved This one had similar issues to Landlar Highlands. Basic concepts were okay, though I think this one bordered on being too tight. A couple pins were illegal and it had the same general sculpting and surfacing issues.

Hey there! Found out my course "The Wyndgate" didn't get approved. Would love some feedback as to why so I can either fix or simply improve moving forward. Thanks! Just realized I forgot to get back to you. Gave the first few holes a quick play, and this one is right on that line for me. There's some minor polish issues, places where the surfaces and transitions could be cleaner, and the bunkers could use a little sculpting work. Some oversights like a tree in the fairway on 4. There's also the greens, where the first couple I played are a little severe to really be playable. The pins aren't outright illegal, but they look like they're right on that edge. There's nothing egregious with this one, it just needs a little more attention to detail, and a little more polish. If you haven't checked them out yet, Andre has some great basic tutorials, and folks like Eric and Reeb also have tutorials floating around that can be helpful for really grasping how to work the tools.

Is it possible to edit courses and then re-submit them?

Is it possible to edit courses and then re-submit them? Can you give us a little more info, such as the course name and what you're editing? We've got some options and I want to make sure they make sense.

We've got some options and I want to make sure they make sense. I submitted Landlar Highlands and TGC City Park. I was wanting to improve them based on the feedback that I received from you - redo fairways, shading, editing, "polish" and get rid of illegal pins. Is it possible to do that then re-submit? Thanks.

Yes you can certainly resubmit, though in this case it might just be easier to edit the existing database entries than to create new ones. If you let me know when they're published (and I'd suggest picking a slightly different name so they can be told apart) I'll give them a play and update the database. Thanks again!

Palisade Bay - not approved This one has some good ideas, and shows some potential, but there's just a lot of surfacing issues, combined with some holes that play rather wonky, it just tips it over that edge for me. Would love to see the designer stick with it, I might just recommend watching a few tutorials, especially parts on surfacing.

Beauly Firth - not approved The course isn't far off, but there was enough playability issues to push it over the edge for me. There's nothing egregious about it outside of the playing issues, but it's rather rough in all aspects.
