I'm assuming everyone with the 95% issue has tried the full range of swing types from extremely slow to extremely fast? You're not just doing the same pre-patch swing over and over right? A faster swing does not solve the issue?

A faster swing does not solve the issue? I've used my full range of "moves." Fast then slow, slow then fast, fast and fast, slow and slow, fast-fast-slow-slow, very gentle, slightly gentle, very rough, slightly rough, smooth talk, rough talk.....

A faster swing does not solve the issue? I had to change to a two finger swing (index down / thumb back up) to solve the problem. It has to do with how smoothly you can go from backswing to front. Not sure what changed but using just a thumb results in a ton of 95% swings. Can't tell if a bug or not but the swing sensitivity seems significantly changed since the patch.

I use two fingers thumb and index. I've tried 90 different ways. 9x out of 10 I get 95% Which is really frustrating because you pick a club thinking you will land short and roll up and now you come up 5% short. Of course when you readjust the next time you get lucky and happen to hit 100% and now your off the back.
This is 100% because of the last update.

Started to find my rhythm last night where I had another practice on Hoodoo Hills where all my drives were 100% and only 3 of my approaches were 95% so I guess with practice it can be done.
Only downside is previously I'd look at the stick to swing and now I'm having to watch the golfer so I'm not as accurate as I was.

I'd played a couple of rounds and felt I was playing ok enough to play Hoodoo Hills and it wasn't as bad as its been but still felt I'd hit a few well that gave me 95%, and in all honesty a few of these were gladly accepted as I'd have well overhit and on others it gave me perfect length using the 95% with my 3 wood on par 5's.
So, I'm trying to compensate and it's working, thankfully.

In fairness, the lies for those 3 95% weren't perfect which didn't help the cause. I found that you could definitely hold the swing at the top for about second, though I was ensuring that the stick was hitting the controller as I pulled back and pushed forward. Now to try and do it whilst looking at the controller for added accuracy. Even happy using the right stick, though I want the left back like yesterday!

ive always been a righty. it must be tough having the 95% issue and having to use the 'wrong' stick...I must admit id have given it a complete miss until that was fixed. good on you for just going with it. Ive got 3 mates who have given up on TGC because of the 95% and one for the left stick bug. I enjoy it too much to give up that easy.

I must admit I didn't register for Hoodoo Hills as I felt I was being penalised twice with the 95% swing and left stick issue but I'm going to email commish later and see if they can fit me in.

It probably didnt play as big a factor because a lot of the holes were down hill. However uphill shots where you need exta club will definitely make a difference and really mess up your game
This is Just from experience in other leagues. Youre semi happy now but let me know if you feel the same after you experience that when youre scrambling to make par everytime uphill

Changing such a big mechanic of the game so far down the line is utterly wrong imo but if it's here to stay then what else can we do but try and overcome it. I'd rather not have to but such is life.

It'd be like EA/Fifa changing midway into its annual franchise the pass and shoot buttons around...we'd rather it not happen but we'd try adapt.

Tried using the left stick backwards but it just felt so wrong! I've never used the right stick for a golf game before until this issue and it's actually not that bad at all.
Sadly, the 95ers are back tonight and I'm doing nothing different from yesterday. Whether it's me or the game it's just too inconsistent.
It's been touched on a few times but why is it 95 or 100 (with the odd 90 thrown in for good measure)? Surely if it's part of the game we should be seeing any % within that 90%+ bracket.
Need to get Mulder and Scully onto the TGC Files.
Update: Just got an email from Jeff to confirm he's registered me for Hoodoo Hills (cheers again Jeff). Kinda wishing I hadn't asked now!
