We may need to look at this. An easier course will bring several CC-Z scores above -5, but a harder course will give little chance for -5. Have to find a middle ground going forward, maybe? I don't know what the answer is. Extending the 10 strokes rule out to 15 makes an "easy" course accessible, but what about the average to harder courses? CC-E is borderline having not enough players for ANYONE to even get one strike, so that is a consideration. However, we will start to see demotions next week and beyond. I feel for the staff on this one. Lots of variables.

Quick question, if some gets an exemption are they permanently promoted up a tier or is it jus for one event?

We are changing it to 10-under - better to set it to an easy course than a hard one.
We have lots of people on higher flights and with this being the 3 week we'll have our first devotions.
There will be lots of players filtering down that will backfill the lower flights but it just needs a bit of time.

Earning Tour Card while on Sponsor's Exemption- While using a Sponsor's Exemption on the PGA, Euro, or Web.com Tours you finish in the top 40 of all participants and are the top finisher of Exemption participants
- While using a Sponsor's Exemption on the Challenge Circuit, you finish in the top 70 of all participants in the flight and finish in the top 3 of Exemption participants OR finish in the top 70 of all participants in the flight and within 10 strokes of the top Exemption participant in the flight
Otherwise you return to your previous flight the following week (don't forget to register!)

Harsh, considering there may be more than one top 10 among the exemptions, like there was last week on the Web.com tour.

Thanks, that's what we're going for We want promotion to pro tours via exemption or Q-School to be very hard (but not impossible) mid-season. Gives the end of season stuff we're planning more meaning.

I'm sure its still in process as of now...

It may have been addressed, but what if there is a tie among the top 2 (or even more) finishers on exemption? Does it fall back to the 1st place tiebreakers for a tournament, or do both (or more) get the exemption?

I should imagine the top 10 CCA players earn a Web Card at the end of season whilst the majority of others will fight with the low webbers for a Web Card too. I like the way the Challenge Circuit is developing, its been a great improvement.

Hi guys - sorry for the flip-flopping but I'd much rather set this bar to an easier event (w28) than to a hard one (w27). So we're bumping up the auto promotion to CC-E to 10-under (from 5-under). This should be it's final resting point! Again, effective immediately so to get to CC-E out of W28 you need to be 10-under or better or within 10 shots of the CC-E winner.
***new*** CC-Z players shooting 10-under or better for the tournament automatically earn CC-E card
