Had a -7 in practice with no wind. I know I can't stay that low in tourney mode but it was nice to go lower than normal for me. Some tight fairways will be challenging with wind. Leave the driver in the bag on a few holes. Reached two of the par 5's in two. Should be fun this week.

I agree things should be a tad easier this week, worst round iv'e had in practice here is level par and best is -9,my main goal this week is to avoid an 80 and also finish under par

Managed a -7 in the first round . Winds were about 11mph average. Screwed up one 8 foot downhiller that traveled 30 feet. Typical... But all in all very happy.

Well practice upon practice finally paid off for me.... been really trying to learn loft, draw and fade and it came through for me... I blew chunks last two tourneys on a couple rounds but finally put four pretty good rounds together..
All were in the 9-12 range wind wise, in my face every first hole
Round 1 : 62 Round 2 : 61 Round 3 : 63 Round 4 : 59 No doubt not good enough for a win, but this is the best I have played all season.. Been practicing on the PGA tour courses, and staying around par, so I believe that no doubt helped me prepare for this weeks course
Good luck gang, great course to play for this tourney.. Lovely course.. Great work designer

Much better tournament for me, got lucky with winds the first two rounds, shot a first round 66 which included a 6 feet eagle miss and a 2 foot birdie putt on the 17th which i managed to 3 putt, second round similar wind and shot a 64 with a couple more putts i should have made. Decided to go smoke after round 2 which was a mistake cos i couldn't sink anything round 3 coupled with high winds shot a 70.
Final round equaled my best practice score and shot a 62.
Good luck everyone this week, hopefully im safe from 3 strike and out

After practice rounds of -6 -7 and -8 respectively I was excited about submitting a half decent opener. There I was, some good music, can of beer and a big old even par for the finish . Sad times.

Thanks sir Paul, they registered me. I ended up playing all four rounds in a row. Probably played the best golf I ever have on here shooting a 60,57,65,61. 57 is my lowest score ever. My putting was terrible round 3 and I got a triple bogey on 17. Got lucky with 2-5 mph winds for the first two rounds but it kicked up to 7-10 the last two. Hopefully I can keep it up at Hoodoo Hills next week.

Some great scores, people. Well done. Number 17 bit me in both rounds I played. Managed a -6 in second round with light winds. Had eagles in both rounds. Which were a treat.

Typical. One really average round. Says how easy the course is when the bad round is a 70. Was only going to play the one round tonight, shot a 67 which included bogies on the first 2 holes. I had not done that at all in practice. Thought that went OK, recovered well, so go again .Shot the 70. Missed so many putts it was unbelievable.
Oh well, just play the first in the next round just in case. Birdie it. Wind still light maybe play a few more holes. BAM 63 (Even though I think I may have entered it as a 65). Just play the first again. Lipped birdie putt. Very annoyed play a few more. Birdied 2, which I had struggled on and then an eagle on 3. Might as well keep going. End up with a 60. And still lipped a few putts and slid a few by.
Going to be some serious low scores. I saw one of the guys on one of the other flights shot a -15. Amazing but if I could putt I would have given that a shake in my final round.
I don't know how these guys can do it so consistently.
Cheers Stu

I have found through painful experience, that if you are right or left of the hole on this course the putts break much more than most med-fast greens. Maybe, just maybe, I can remember that in my last two rounds, because I never seem to be directly below or above the hole.
