Hi everyone, first time poster here. I purchased the game about five days ago and am hooked! I've got about 60 rounds under my belt already just found this awesome site last night. I ended up with a +35 through Q-School so I think that puts me at the lower end of CC-C.
From what I understand you qualify to CC-C with a Q-School score of +20 through +36. So if that's the case, how does everyone here scoring in the minus 30's and 40's?
Is it that the Q-school courses are always very difficult? Or do people just improve their game by leaps and bounds within a month or two of joining a particular circuit?
Looking forward to my first tournament!

The Q school courses are more difficult than the ones in the Challenge Circuit. By a fair bit, if memory serves me. Also, the course for the Challenge Circuit flights this week was a fairly easy course from the couple of rounds that I played, and by noticing that the CC scores were quite a bit lower across the boards this week compared to the previous two weeks. Welcome and enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome. And if this weeks Q-School was easier than usual, then I guess I really should belong to CC-D. I guess time should tell! I saw a note that the week 30 tournament will be of the tropical theme, which requires the DLC. I just bought it just to play! Since the 30th week starts July 20th, can I access it at 12am July 20th during my time zone (PST)? Also, once you are in a CC, can playing Q-School again in later weeks can land you into a different category?

The scores you see in the -30s and -40s are for the course that the CC flights played this week. That course was Hobble Creek, which was the easiest of the three courses so far offered since the Challenge Circuit came to be. Those scores you see posted were not played on the Q-School courses. Q-School is an independent event used solely for placement in an appropriate tour and if applicable, the appropriate flight of the Challenge Circuit. Q-school is a one time event once you submit your scores and get a tour card.

Well detailed clarification. Thanks!
Trying to access the week 29 (if it's not too late) or week 30 tournament right now. When I go to tournaments and type in tgctours.com, I see four w28's and two w29's (one for web and one for euro). Am I looking in the wrong place if I want to play the CC flight for the week?
If it's under Tours instead of Tournaments, tgctours.com search turns up 7 entries, with two w29's. One for CC and one for PGA. Is that that CC the one I want to play? I guess I assumed it was a different course for each flight.
EDIT: Whoops, just realized we are on week 29 NOW, not 30! So the I'm going to try this Shakeweight Invitational, seems to be the right one.

So all that worry about a top 70 and barring any further scores being registered you've made the top 40. Easy peasy Yeah I was pretty happy about that. Top 30 would have been even nicer to erase my strike I got last week..but I'll take it. Can't complain about top 40. Clearly a few late submissions so just outside top 40 but target achieved nevertheless so well done mate. Great to see 95/130 completing their four rounds. Shame for the other 35 but I'm sure they had their reasons. Pleased with my second successive third place. Not sure if that automatically bumps me up to CC-B as I'm within 10 shots of the lesser 1st place score on the upper Challenge flights so I'll have to read the rules on that. Not registered for this week's tournament due to the XB1 left stick issue so best of luck to all of you who are competing.

Not registered for this week's tournament due to the XB1 left stick issue so best of luck to all of you who are competing. The way I understand it is: If you were playing this week as a regular member of CC-C, you will get an exemption to CC-B next week to try and earn a promotion to CC-B, but if you were playing this week's CC-C event on an exemption from CC-D, then you will simply become a member of CC-C. Unfortunately no exemptions given while playing on one. If I am wrong or misunderstood, hopefully someone will correct me.

Only played the two tournaments thus far and spend most of my time in the forums so really need to have a good read of the main website.

So the I'm going to try this Shakeweight Invitational, seems to be the right one. Yes, we are on week 29 now. The deadline for week 29 was 11:59:59 EST Saturday night. (4+ hours ago). But, the staff here is usually accomodating if you e-mail them and explain your situation. commish@tgctours.com Also, when you are logged on to the main site (not these forums, but where the tournaments,s cores, and all that are), you will see a confirmation that you have the appropriate tour card. To double check, look the in the upper right on the main site when logged in, and it should say your first name and then, in your case, CC-C if you have your card. I would inquire also in an e-mail to the above to verify you have your card. Hopefully you did submit your 6 round scores on the site. As far as the week 29 event for the CC tiers, this week it is under tours, and not tournaments. This is because the event has different setups for each round (pins, weather, etc.) Good luck!

Thanks for all the advice swaeromotion!
I just checked the upper corner and it only shows my name. After I submitted the 6 scores, the system did say that it will take 24-48 hours for the administrators to confirm my score, so I'm in no hurry.
I just played through the Week 29 event and got wrecked pretty bad! +5, +5, +0, +6. I suppose I won't be able to submit these scores until I'm approved to be in CC-C.
I never realized there was weather effects in this game (rain) until I played the Shakeweight Invitational. Loving this game!

Shoot them an e-mail and tell them you'd like to be put in the event and you need your scores verified and given a card. Hopefully they will help you out.
If so, then you will be able to submit your scores. Remember to put your scores in total strokes and each round will be one at a time, in order.

Got it.
I actually tried putting in my scores as +5, +6 etc. during the qualifying rounds and a message directed me towards the right format.
Just read the rules and it said that you have to register for tournaments at least 48 hours before it begins so I guess I do have to email the commish!

Should be a cracker.
