well whaddaya know, I managed to post the right scores this week. -42 for 4 rounds, left a load of putts out there, played all four rounds together , started 63 , 63 ,before wind dropped to 3mph then shot 56 , 59 ...putting was annoying the amount of 3ft putts i knocked over the hole was terrible , but at the end was very satisfying to see i ended the tourni 1 shot ahead of the old foe David Wilks...

After the highs of round one, round two had me back to normality, even though I hit every fairway and green in regulation, I could not make all the putts like I did in round one, still a steady seven under kept the scorecard ticking over. On to round three and it was not the start I wanted, a poor par on the first followed by bogey on the second. My approach was fine, was left with maybe a seven foot downhill putt for birdie, I thought I hit it right, the line was perfect but it hopped over the hole to roll six foot away. Again the line for my par putt was perfect, again I got the speed wrong and again it hopped over the hole, it was a terrible bogey to give away. I made the shot back on the next hole but it played in my mind a bit. I was way to cautious over the next three holes. I was leaving the ball way to far from the hole for birdie chances, my lag putting was fine but the holes were slipping away. I finally got it right on the seventh, put the ball within three foot of the hole for a easy birdie, then did the exact same on the eighth, maybe there was hope after all, yeah right!! I hooked the ball badly on my ninth tee shot, went from heavy rough to heavy rough on my second shot and could not recover for par. One under after nine on this course, pretty much a disaster. Just like first bogey, it took me three shots to recover. On one of those holes, there was again a nasty hook, put myself behind some trees that time but at least made par. The thirteenth was the start of my attempted come back, four birdies followed, inches away from a ace, then came the seventeenth. I played it wrong from start to finish. Because of my hitting the ball left a bit to much, I aimed to far right and would you know, I hit the ball straight, straight into the rough. I found the fairway with my second, thirty eight yards short of the green. So I said to myself, forty yard flop, easy par. You all know what's coming, you all know about the slope in front on the hole. In fact, I know about it as well, pity for a few seconds I forgot all about it,thirty feet it rolled and bang went my come back, still I only dropped one shot. A birdie on the last had me finish on five under, a full seven shots behind my first round. I am still not sure I should be in the cc-a but I am having a ball trying to stay here, that adventure continues soon on round four.

The adventure finished with a bogey free 62, inconsistent is my middle name. No time for report on round four, no wall of text for a change. Next week might be a different matter, I get the feeling next week might have me reporting all kinds of shenanigans, good luck everyone with the rest of the week.

I made the epic mistake of playing my 3rd round in high winds 11-15mph...it completely destroyed my chances of a top ten finish I went: 58 / 59 / 68 / 59 Can't wait for the wind to be locked down to even the playing field.

Played the 4th round in light/ medium winds and by the time i go the 18th the very last hole of the tournament i was flying like an Eagle.
Hit my drive up the Fairway with 207 yards left to the pin, looked at the wind, had a peek at the green to see where i should land the ball.
Allowed for the roll Took out my 3 Iron, no adjustmmets and let her rip, ball landed where i wanted it to then ( Take a Picture make a Poster ) into the Cup she went for an Albatross.
So i was Flying like an Eagle then Morphed into an Albatross.
I am so lucky i got that Albatross because i missed my last putt and realised my putter doesn,t float

So if all rounds are complete, it looks like I've earned an exemption to the web tour.
Will I play the web tour next week, or the week after?

It looks like I will get my first demotion strike this week. I didn't play well by any means, but I would have had to shoot a TGCT career best just to make top 70 after making the top 25 last week. No more of these birdie fest please. My putting is just not good enough to have to make birdie almost every hole.

Didn't want to respond back until it was "official". Already see the nice, shiny new green W next to my name on the leaderboards! Good luck to you getting back to give it another go! Everyone else, too, for that matter.

Hopefully you and a couple of other top players in CC can get there and stay to give us other Joes a chance on CC lol. Good luck.

Well I had to play my Web exemption this weekend.
Was a couple of holes through my first round, and got called to help the girlfriend with something. Came back to find the controller in the hands of my 13 year old cousin! He'd already killed my round so I let him finish it! haha. He didn't too incredibly bad, finished +8, but be does have the game at home.
You'll be seeing me back here next week!
