Yea, we want to make it really tough to earn you way up to the "BIG" tours during the season.

Yup, Once everyone filters into their own suitable standard and the wind fix comes it should be tight indeed. I believe CC-A will be a much tougher division by August. Great new circuit.

So I have a strange situation...I played the first two rounds last week but, due to family issues, I didn't finish the tournament. Got a WD and a warning about the DQ. All fine and good...but then I get an email saying that I got an exemption and I'm registered on the next flight up. How does that happen?
I'll be sending an email anyway as I think I'm going to be away for a while. Just got a good chuckle out of being DQ'd but promoted at the same time.
Other than this quirky scenario, great work on everything as usual guys!

Thanks! Not sure if my score was enough this week to earn a promotion but I gave it my all lol. Regarding your question, the top 5 (+ ties) players in a CC-A tourney earn an exemption onto the next weeks Web.com event. Out of those 5 + ties, only the best finisher earns a promotion onto the Web.com tour. If none of the exempt players finish within the top 40, then nobody earns a promotion for the week. It's clever. It means CC A will get loaded up with only 1 able to move up. I believe the web tour is quite light on players so expect there to be a slow stream of good players battling for promotion to web! JDs great anyway so don't see a problem with him moving up. Could get a lot tougher over the next few weeks, especially with those that start dropping from web into CC A. Your analysis is correct - if you want to make it up to Web.com, better to do it earlier than later! It's a major accomplishment on its own if you can just get to Web.com, let alone make your way up to the PGA tour. Makes the victory sweeter at the end!

So looks like I will be promoted to CC-B after playing on an exemption this week. I take it I register on the C tournament though and then some magic happens to move me to B?
