Just a reminder of how this is going to work:
Receiving a Sponsor's Exemption on the Challenge Circuit If you earn a Sponsor's Exemption on the Challenge Circuit, you will receive an email and be auto-registered to the next tournament - one flight higher than your current flight. You may withdraw if you are unable to play, but the exemption will remain. If you choose to withdraw, your next event will make use of the exemption. To withdraw please send an email to commish@tgctours.com.
*** note that the above rule is the updated wording that will be pushed to the site sometime in the near future
This means that you will be immediately put into the next flight above. Those of you in the CC-A flight - keep in mind this will mean you will play the Web.com Event should you qualify for an exemption. So those of you trying to get a head start (ie playing on Saturday or Sunday) just be aware of where you are likely to end up.
Timelines (using this week as an example) Saturday 12am est (W27 tournaments published) Saturday 11:59pm est (W26 events close, exemptions handed out)
For most of you, it won't affect your in-game play. You will still play the tgctours.com-cc-w27 event regardless if you are on exemption or not. The only guys that need to be aware are the top 5+ ties from CC-A. I will be emailing them today to make sure they are playing the Web.com event this weekend if they are trying to get a head start.

Did I miss something? I assume within 10 shots means 10 shots and under? I haven't received an email regarding exemption :-(

And being in last place, do I get the official Challenge Tour Toilet Seat award?
(And seriously, thanks for the hard work Doyley.)

I was promoted to CC-C for this weeks tourney at The Homestead.
This may be a dumb question but what do I have to do to stay in CC-C? If I finish in the top 70, do I stay in? And below top 70 I go back to CC-D?
Thanks, and again.... Great work guys I'm loving this new format.

Here's how to earn a promotion to CC-C this week, according to the FAQ page: "While using a Sponsor's Exemption on the Challenge Circuit, you finish in the top 70 of all participants in the flight and finish in the top 3 of Exemption participants OR finish in the top 70 of all participants in the flight and within 10 strokes of the top Exemption participant in the flight."

I can't seem to find it, but what are the rules for CC-A exemptions to Web.com and more specifically, the rules for getting a Web.com card on that exemption?
I am pretty sure it is top 5 plus ties get an exemption, but I cannot seem to find or remember what criteria it takes to earn a Web.com tour card playing on that exemption.

You have to finish in the top 40, and have the best score out of all other exempt players in the field. So it is just one exemption at most per week? I do remember reading this, but I thought it was for the CC exemptions moving up to a higher CC tier. Thats rough, but good luck to you!

Not sure if my score was enough this week to earn a promotion but I gave it my all lol. Regarding your question, the top 5 (+ ties) players in a CC-A tourney earn an exemption onto the next weeks Web.com event. Out of those 5 + ties, only the best finisher earns a promotion onto the Web.com tour. If none of the exempt players finish within the top 40, then nobody earns a promotion for the week.

It means CC A will get loaded up with only 1 able to move up. I believe the web tour is quite light on players so expect there to be a slow stream of good players battling for promotion to web! JDs great anyway so don't see a problem with him moving up. Could get a lot tougher over the next few weeks, especially with those that start dropping from web into CC A.
