Hello, I am Zahi and I am from Somalia. Not really, but that is my XBL name and thought I'd use it here if I start playing on one of the tours here. I was a credited beta tester for TW2004, discovered TGC 2019 and really am impressed. I'm puzzled about something here that hopefully someone can comment on. I joined TGC True Sim Tour just last night, but am struck by the idea players using Pro and Master clubs play on the same tour. Seems like it would encourage everyone to play Pro clubs, no? You play either masters or pro on the TST tour whichever your comfortable with, its been shown that the game isn’t level between PS4, PC and Xbox playability wise using master clubs so you will probably find more Xbox players using pro clubs than the other two platforms. I use pro with the occasional foray into master club territory depending on the course if it has wide fairways although it’s the approach shots accuracy I have the most trouble with mainly fast and slow downswings affecting accuracy with the irons. If it was made mandatory master clubs I would dropout of the society as there are pitifully few Xbox players that make the cut every week no matter which club-set they use. It’s the putting with no grids that creates the most difficulty for me though.

Hi everyone,
I'm from Saskatoon and am an avid golfer myself. I play at a beautiful course called Dakota Dunes.
I came to this game as I heard it mentioned on The Fried Egg golf podcast when they were discussing golf architecture. GolfClub2019 on PS4 is my first foray into the game.
I came across this community when I heard it mentioned by crazycanucks youtube channel.
I've started dabbling in the course designer recently after playing a lot and finding courses I liked.
Where should I go from here!?

Howdy! I'm Stephen and I've been playing this game for quite a while now but I've never formally introduced myself.
I love golf in general and have played avidly for basically my whole life. I was as low as a scratch in college but I'm more like a 3 now. I love watching golf too...along with every sport out there. The easiest way to describe myself is being competitive. I love winning in everything I do! With that being said my hobbies extend from that sentiment...playing just about every sport, fishing, games, fantasy football...if I can win, I'll play!
I'm a structural engineer in my day job so I love numbers which extends to me watching sports and falling in love with stats...
Finally, I'm a PC MASTER RACE Junkie....That's right, I said it (; I am one of the few people (or at least to my knowledge) that uses a mouse to play with and the only time this is problematic on my PC is if I get a random frame drop because it'll create a completely off tempo swing. Also, if my mouse pad is wearing down, I instantly need to shift over because that also creates many off tempo swings. It was insanely hard at first but I got used to it and wouldn't switch to a controller now unless I was forced to by API but in that case I probably just wouldn't play on the tours...
Oh...side note...I fully intend on dabbling in the designer eventually. Some of y'all have created some master pieces and I want to at least get an idea of how long that takes and the effort that's been put into these courses. Up until now, I have only played in tgctours events, society events and some matchmaking in the 19th hole group on PC. I also played the pgatour mode for a very long time before every playing against anyone which helped a lot.
Anyways, I hope this gives some insight! I look forward to playing anyone I haven't and to continue playing against those that I have.
Go Cowboys, Spurs, Astros and Longhorns!! Can Brady retire already please???

Good Day,
Steve here, aka TheeMadMonk. Little bit about myself I’m living in New Brunswick, Canada and loving it. I have been playing Golf games since “Links 386 pro” back in the 90’s. That where it all started, l’d say I’m a casual golfer for sure, I enjoy most golf games from arcade cartoony games to sims. I’d like to start getting into a community (never have before) and meeting some new people. Feel free to add me on PS4; PSN:TheeMadMonk that’s my main system I play golf on these days.
BTW Cannabis is legal in Canada now, and I love to partake in some edibles before a round of golf, mellows me right out and I get right in the zone. Hopefully there are no drug tests in this league. Hahaha
I just recently picked up TGC 2019 and so far I’m loving it, can’t wait to meet some new players and learn some new tricks.
Cheers all

I am Knickerbocker aka Knicker aka Mike
I am an Xbox1 player and new to TGC. I started playing TGC2 on Gamepass a few months ago and then found out about this community which made me want to update to TGC 19.
I am a competitive amateur golfer and played in college. This is the best golf game I have played because it requires course management and offers that feeling that some days, you just don’t have your game.
I am in Q school this week. Looking forward to competing with everyone.

Gday all the names Avakrac from Avakrac Gaming. I thought I would introduce myself to new and old members of this awesome community. So a little about myself and how I discovered this awesome community.
I started a youtube channel about six or more months ago now, with the intentions of making video's on a variety of different games. Then soon after I discovered The Golf Club 2019 and instantly fell in love with playing a new course everyday. Now I find it hard to play anything other than The Golf Club 2019. Then it hit me, I want to show off the all of the outstanding course designs from the design community, which in my opinion its the designers and all the great courses that makes this game so good and keeps it a live. After hearing about the TGC Tours on youtube, I knew thats where I needed to be. After signing up I was opened up to a hole new world. I decided to take a leap of faith and cover the TGCTours Rookie Design Contest and was instantly felt welcomed into this awesome community.
Feel free to stop by the channel and say hi and check out all the great courses. If your a designer or new to designing you might come away with some new ideas for your own course and keep an eye out, your course might be next. If your just a player I'm sure you will find some awesome courses to go and have hit on yourself.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I've been around and lurking for the last couple of months. Picked up the game on PS4 and immediately fell in love (with a slight bit of loathing as well...LOL!). Having not played for over 20 years, I recently got back into playing golf IRL in the spring of 2018 and found TGC2019 on Amazon while perusing there for actual golf clubs, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm not much of a gamer, but my boys have been for years, so I commandeered their PS4 for periods they were not using it. Then I discovered the designer, and all bets were off. I purchased a new PC just last week and have switched over completely from PS4 now, and am excited about the possibilities that the game and designer provide.
My name is Mike, but in game you'll see me as DrnkNdKnwThngs...which is a simple homage to the phrase from Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones, when he said, "That's what I do. I drink and I know things."
The TGCTours community is absolutely amazing and I look forward to playing with and competing against you all. See you on the links!
~Mike

Aloha from Hawai'i everyone!
Community newbie here (it's partially jimgem's fault because somehow one of his videos got suggested to me on YouTube one night and I was absolutely enthralled by the game and the fact folks could design their own courses...I don't know how there were 2 iterations of this game that I somehow missed!). I game under my tag web5770, but went with RedNU as my forum name as it is what I have used for all other sports-themed stuff for god-knows-how-long. Started the Q-school process today and it is obvious that some (and by some I mean most) of you play the game way better than I do. But this looks like an absolute blast and I'm looking forward to it. Actually bought the game back in the summer, but spent a lot of time just playing the Lidar/RCR's (so glad to see The Course at Yale added recently!) and PGA Career mode to get a feel for things. I'm in the long arduous process of building my first course...I know I've already F'd some stuff up on it, so it is anyone's guess as to whether I actually share it or just use it to get a feel for various effects and then apply the whole learning from my mistakes thing to the next one.
I love to write, so there's a chance I'll go crazy posting. Then again, the call of the beach is quite strong, so who knows.
Let's see, other random stuff...
Q-School goal -- Don't finish dead last. I'm keeping it simple here, lol... Golf background -- Played two years of college golf before a car accident threw me in rehab and ended that (although by that point I'd decided that those childhood PGA Tour dreams were absolutely NOT happening...) Game goal -- Would love to get Ko'olau (an Oahu course with slope rating 153) in the game as a course...check out videos of it on YouTube to get a feel for the craziness.
Anyhow, feel free to say hi, especially if you're sitting there going "I wonder if that's the RedNU from..." as the answer is probably yes. Peace!
