Hello everyone, my name is Eric. I live in California, I'm a huge golf fan, not as much of a gamer... although this community and site are amazing. My profile name is eshootspar (PS4)....like I said not a huge gamer, but would love some new friends to play matches with. I started playing tgc2 in June, and loved it. I also love this game, I'm well versed in the actual game, play only once a week now, although I've maintained my 3 hdcp. I'm a union carpenter, I build jails prisons and courthouses mainly, although tons of bridge work and the high speed rail are goin strong as well. There are some amazing players, and I've noticed the tremendous amnt of work by the admins to keep this great community and site going strong. So for that, thank you. I hope to meet some new friends on here, and take my game to the next level. Please add me, if ya ever wanna just get a match in from time to time. Can't wait for Q school, after emersing myself in this game for a couple months I love it! Gluck to all!

Hi,
My name is Russell. I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada, and I'm a 32 year old disabled veteran (Navy) with bipolar disorder. Playing games helps my manic-depression and I love being a part of a community like this. It gives the game some real value. I wish more games did that. Anyway, I played at the tail end of Season Four on here and I'm looking forward to Season Five.
I played a little real life golf and took lessons when i was a kid, but I haven't hit the links since. But I did just buy a set of clubs and have been going to the driving range and hopefully soon I'll be ready for the course. I've been waiting till the weather got a little cooler (Vegas heat is a killer) to really get after it.
Since rediscovering my interest in golf, I've been trying to keep up with the PGA Tour and watching all the tournaments when I can. (Ryder cup was fun). I haven't picked a favorite player yet, but I'm working on it. (Technically Adam Scott is my favorite because he went to my Alma Mater, UNLV, but he's not doing to great right now)
I'm also a musician; I play drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and trombone. I just left the two bands I was in because of personal issues, but who knows, I may get back into it again.
I'm not very good at TGC (especially putting) but I hope to keep improving with time. My handicap hovers around +6 and I'll be lucky to make it out of the lower CC leagues, but I still have fun with it.
I'm really looking forward to being a part of the community here.
I'm FortyNothing on PS4
See you out there!

Hello all, my name is Lee. I'm 39 and live just south of Pittsburgh, PA but originally from Washington DC area, Northern Virginia specifically. Go caps.
I'm currently 100% a PS4 player (PMGS247) but my video game upbringing was largely on PC. Video game golfing specifically back to the early 90's with the Links series. I continued to play Links through the 90's and early '00's, with a splash of the early versions of Tiger Woods PGA tour mixed in a couple of years in the late 90's. I was very much involved in playing the early days of online play. BBS's, Cases Ladder, Kali, MSN, etc. Fast forward to 2006 I move in with a roommate who's just purchased an Xbox 360 and an HD TV and that marked the beginning of my switch from PC to console. I continued to play the Tiger Woods series from there on out since it was the only real option, and though it was a lot of fun for a number of years, I did watch it decline in quality year after year. TGC couldn't have come at a better time. Even though I was a day 1 downloader of the original TGC I haven't had a lot of time over the past few years to dedicate to TGC but I LOVE the concept, especially the limitless course potential. This game is still quite bare bones in many ways, it still has that indie feel to it even with the PGA license. That's not a knock on the game, I'm a huge fan of that aspect; I like that we're on the early part of the curve of this game, it's a much better place to be than slowly riding the EA sports series into the ground. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this is heading and going along for the ride.
I love to play alternate shot, I like the extra pressure of hitting shots not just for yourself but for a teammate. I find the practice in required concentration to be good preparation for TGCtours events where it can be easy to get mentally lazy just playing a solo stroke round. If anyone ever wants to pair up send me a friend request/invite. I play master clubs and from what I see in matchmaking so far I probably qualify as slightly above average overall, capable of stretching to a great player on a good day and also quite capable of needing carried around the course on the back of my partner on a bad day. Both ends of the spectrum are realistic possibilities at any given moment.
Have fun out there!

Hello
I'm Mike. I own all 3 of the TGC games. This will be my first time with TGCTours. I have always heard great things but figured it time to join up and get in on the action. I hope to see you all soon.

I’m Scott from Canada. I started playing golf in real life before I was a teenager. A few years ago I gave the game up due to some nagging back / shoulder issues that were aggravated with playing. I tried for 2 years to find some way to make it work and just couldn’t.
So I’m turning to PC golf which I started playing back in the days of Links 386 ( probably dating myself here ).
I’m brand new to the series this year. I was actually still playing Links 2003 for a golf fix until I picked up TGC 2019 shortly after release.. I was watching Twitch streams to try and pick up some tips on how to improve and kept hearing about TGC Tours.
The thing that I love the most about the game is that I have that feeling that I can improve with time and effort. I can see the amount of skill that’s involved in shooting low scores. For me a good round is anything under par. I jumped into Masters clubs after a couple of days with the game because I thought struggling with the hardest club set was going to be the quickest way to improve and keep bad habits out of my swing. I am massively inconsistent as expected from a new player. My foray into TGC Tours is going to be a much better way for me to track my progress and improvement over time. Looking forward to some friendly competition in my quest to get better each week.

Hi, I'm Paul. I've been playing TGC for a few months started with TGC2. Wouldn't say I'm particularly good at the game although I'm looking forward to Q-School where I'll no doubt sit for a few months. But my main interest in TGC is around the course design element, especially after watching CrazyCanuck1985's tutorials.

Hi all,
My name is Frans from the Netherlands. I am relatively new to all this: bought my very first PS4 a few months ago, together with TGC2. Switched to TGC 2019 a few weeks ago and after a few rounds I started using Master clubs. I used to play video game golf back in the Links series era and played in online tournaments (a lot). However, I have been away from it all for about 10 years. I play golf irl but pretty bad - handicap 18. I am also still pretty bad at TGC - just check my scores for the test tournament this week but (!) at least I improved each round. :-)
I have now played St Bedes half a dozen times and I am sure of two things: It is beautiful and I cannot put a decent round together on it - best so far is +5 from back tees with default conditions.
Family life and job (full professor at university) mean I cannot put in more than 4-5 rounds a week, so learning curve will probably be pretty flat but so far I am enjoying all of this.
Can't wait for Q-school to start!

Hey guys I'm early-1981. I'm a huge fan of the golf club gaming franchise. I'm a casual player but I've joined the tgc Tours to test my ability against the best. I'm from the Highlands in Scotland. I'm looking forward to trying to compete against you guys and hopefully meet new people along the way. All the best early ⛳

Hi everyone! I'm Evan from Manhattan. I'm originally a midwest transplant and grew up around the game of golf (there were several dozen golf courses within a 30-minute radius of my childhood home). I also had the opportunity to attend the World Series of Golf (now Bridgestone Invitational) for years growing up, so I love the game, but can't profess to have more than a few dozen real-life rounds under my belt. It's more of an appreciation for the sport. In terms of TGC - I fell in love with the original game when it first debuted and it was one of the main reasons I got an XB1. My playtime usually trailed off in years past, but this year's game has brought a renewed interest and addiction. I've almost surely eclipsed my round total already from all of TGC2. I almost got into TGCTours last year, but decided this would be the year to do it. I will likely fall into the lower CC divisions, but I'm excited to participate. I'm a friendly dude, so feel free to add me on XB1 - EvanInHarlem if you'd like a practice round.
