I will let you guys battle it out to get back on the Web tour. I placed into Web A out of Q School in May and then missed three straight cuts before the reshuffle. I finally would have made a cut this week if we would have had one here.
Is the longest putt stat broke? I know I didn't make three 40+ footers in the first three rounds, or is it saying those were the longest putts I attempted?

I played pretty well against you two this week and I too struggle with consistency in short game/putting. As you say, the top guys never seem to miss which is a little disheartening when you don't have the consistency. I'm seeing you two as good targets and may well play the web events (get bored easily having completed CC B early!) I'll be keeping an eye out for your ghost balls, ooo matron!

Yeah, judging by the PS4 scores, thought I might have a chance to finish up a shot or two off the lead. It now looks like I might finish 6 or 7 shots back if the top two guys can go low on their final round. After 3 rounds, -32 is an incredible score on this course, my hat's off to the leader. Interested to see if he can reach -45, as that's what I originally thought would win this week. I also just finished this weeks Web event a little while ago just for fun. Started off +3 after 4 holes, but brought it back nicely after all was said and done, finishing with a 4 shot lead on PS4.

Anyone play the Web.com tour just to be curious?? I recently joined, and played all 3 events that were available to me in my 3 weeks on Web-A. Made all 3 cuts and had a top 25. This week's Web.com field is small (91 or so) and it looks like there will be right around 70 to complete 2 rounds in time for the cut, so most everyone will make the cut. I think my score may very well have been good enough for a top 25. I think there are many golfers here that are Web.com worthy and best of luck to those who do get exemptions this week for next week's event up on Web.com! I will be 5 strokes short or so methinks. I just joined TGC Tours a couple months ago, starting in the Web-A out of Q School. I played poorly (by my standards) the first few events, which resulted in average finishes. My tournament play improved a few weeks ago, and I placed 6th and 16th in my last 2 Web-A events. The 6th place finish was the week of the wind update, so that's definitely encouraging. I think my game is definitely good enough to win on Web.com, maybe even good enough for a top 5 on the PGA Tour if I played really well. However, I'm happy to be in the CC-A after the reshuffle, and hope to earn my way back onto Web.com. Seems like there are some really good players on this tour, so I have my work cut out for me. On a side note, I'm currently sitting at 9th place for the Open qualifier at Swindon Downs, with about 40 players yet to post scores. Hopefully I can stay in the top 10, and make the Open Championship my first "Pro" tour appearance! Looks like we made it, see you at The Open!

Still in shock after my last round, four under is roughly what I needed to avoid my first strike. That should have been easily manageable and 2 birdies were that perfect start. Then hole four happened, according to my score card I dropped four shots there. I don't know what happened, my conscious has blocked all memory to protect my fragile little mind. It also won't let me remember the three dropped shots at the seventh and two dropped on the eight. Nine dropped shots in three holes, don't think I have ever played that badly before, can safely say I deserve my first strike with that round. My picture should be hung in the club house with a sign over it with a health warning" this is Dan, he used to be a golfer, he thought drinking beer while playing golf was cool, this is his score card. Don't become a Dan, never drink and golf." I finally crawled into the club house bar with a eighty one to howls of laughter from the other players, " challange circuit A player my ass" was one of the hurtful comments, " send him back to q school" another. And those comments were just from my mother!
I can't help thinking I should be a division or two lower as I not the same standard as a lot of you guys but the competitive side of me will have fighting as hard as I can to stay here. No matter what happens, I plan to do with a smile on my face. This game is fun when things are going well but you know what, when things go wrong and you have a little fight on your hands to improve, it's also a lot of fun. Good luck in the next event everyone and if a Irish man offers you a cool bottle of Bulmers when your on the course, just say no.

They kindly offered to leave me bring them shopping today, wonder why they keep calling me Mr Wallet instead of uncle Dan. I shall take your advice and try this Irish restaurant you mentioned. Either that or the madhouse after toy shopping with four kids.

JD, I played your ghost balls around San Monique (;-) ) you're very good around the green, your putting was brilliant on a lot of the greens. You had many good lines and weighting! Not surprised you scored so well around there. I was pleased I matched you on many approaches but you were consistent as hell on all 4 rounds - playing the same line on nearly every hole. I have a strong feeling you are destined for much higher levels! Can't see you out of place in the top flight. The day I'm out-scoring you is the day I've eclipsed this game!
