I was one of the guys having framerate issues, so I might give this a try later. I found it odd that I had lots of framerate issues when playing this course during the day, but very little lag on my tourney rounds, which I played at like 3am eastern time. I wonder if it's more of a server/network connection issue then, as opposed to a system issue? That's what I was thinking... play was MUCH smoother for me during late night/early morning.

The course runs in very similar speeds as Hobble Creek for me, which is the course in two weeks time. So people better try that out and see if that bothers them before its too late ...

I noticed the same thing when I practiced Hobble Creek. Laggy, but somewhat less so than Victory. The Homestead plays very well as opposed to these two courses.

The new scorecards are stunning. I noticed you got a par on the 'Easiest Hole Ever' I've got no luck with that hole. I think I know that if I get near I've got a gimmie, I 've got too much pressure on and always miss the green! By the way, it's looking like another great tournament for you! Your fortunes have certainly changed over the past few weeks. You've left me well behind!

Haha, yeah, 10mph wind in my face, clubbed up too high and overshot the green. I got a bit lucky 1st round as I didnt play well at all. Chipped in about 4 times, it would be interesting to see the GiR stat as must have only hit 50% of them. Felt I played better 2nd round barring 2 holes and shot three shots more, bizarre haha. You started your tournament yet? See you've not posted a score yet.

That happens to me all of the time. Not yet. Had a couple of practices last night. I didn't birdie the first both nights. I played against your ghost. I managed -5 or -6 on the 2nd practice so still a bit short. My swing was awful for most of the practice. I'm just not consistent and obviously putting is an issue. I've been looking at CC-B scores. If I can match my best practice I might be top 30, saying that I've technically gone down two flights so I should be nearer the top

Looking at the scores posted thus far there doesn't look to be too much difference in quality between B and A. Should be quite a lot of movement between flights in this new setup, makes for exciting times. Good luck pal.

please enlighten me, when were there equal winds? As someone mentioned above. When the latest patch came out, it contained a wind patch, which meant everyone had even winds for the tournament. However, there was a bug, whereby everyone would have the same speed, but the wind would randomly rotate 180˚ meaning some people had 10mph down win, whilst others were 10mph into wind. HB decided to turn the feature off until the next patch (they can turn it off server side) so they can fix it. The wind is the same across all consoles/formats because of the naming convention. As long as tournaments are named exactly the same, they will have the same wind speeds. well this is embarrassing I didnt know that. Thanks for the enlightenment.

No time for a full report on round two which might be a good thing as I might have ended up with a ban for foul language. What a frustrating round, I played so much better than round one but finished just one stroke better. I could have been six under after six but lip outs and putts missing by a inch or so had me just one under. A double bogey on the seventh had another lip out for a one over back nine. I birdied six of the back nine but also dropped a couple of shots, again down to putting. I am so close to it being right but not there just yet. This round could easily have been ten or eleven under, four lip outs, another four or five putts a inch or so away. Those small margins make such a difference, it's why I enjoy the game so much, it may be frustrating but it's also damn eventful. Lots of positives to take from round two, I gave myself birdie chance at pretty much every hole, once I can take more of them, I think I will be able to compete more. It will take a few weeks, maybe even a demotion but I will get there. This week should be strike one for me but that also makes things more exciting, trying to avoid more strikes, trying to get them reset, I see fun times ahead.

This week was one where I felt like I didn't score nearly as well as I could have. Too many side-hill 6-8 footers that slid by on the low side of the cup. Good news is that I've learned how to adjust for those a bit better (i.e. - HIT THEM HARDER!!) so I don't think I'll have that be a big issue in future rounds. I likely cost myself 6-7 strokes on putts like those, but still ended at -26. Don't think that'll be nearly enough for a Top 5, so I'll be back at it next week looking to earn that Web.com sponsor's exemption!

Just finished rounds 3 and 4. Started round 3 birdie, eagle, birdie and raised my expectations. Then proceeded to play poorly. Winds were between 9-12mph throughout but it was my poor putting which let me down. Usually a confident putter but lost my mojo after 4 putting the 8th on round 3 and from there it was downhill.
Some of the pin placements require defensive putts indeed and if you're not putting well it makes the course a lot tougher than you think.

OK, finally got my internet set up and played my first practice round here. Definitely the chuggiest course I've played on PS4.
However, definitely can make some birdies here, so I imagine it will be -40 or better that wins it.

-10 per round for a -40 at the very least was my goal too. Buggered that one up haha.

My $2 in the pool is that -45 wins it.
