Thanks for the welcomes. So I've been practicing Victory and averaging around E to +3 over, but somehow and I don't know how, I shot a -10 lol. I hope I can get a round like that when it counts. How's everyone doing in practice? I did okay but found a few of the tee shots a little daunting. I'll have a couple more rounds and see how it goes. Good luck up an down like a yo yo...1 minute I'm hot, the next I'm not

Ok Kiwi, you did jinx me!!(LOL) Just put round 1 behind me (Glad to), not the results that I was looking for. Not your fault, need a scapegoat, tag, Your It!(LOL) Pretty miserable round for me. Got off to a great start despite the winds, which for the record were from the North, Northwest at 9 - 15 mph. Early in the match got it to -2, then the bogies started to appear. At the end of the first nine, was at +2 and lost my hat to the wind gusts. Fought the winds to get back to Even par, but the closing holes and the wind direction were too much for me and finished at 75, 2 over. Lots and lots of lipped out putts were my demon today, as they are for everyone. Appreciate your early confidence in me earlier this week, but I do have my superstitions with this game so I took it as a bad omen. That is where I defeated myself. I'm just really weird when it comes to my superstitious feelings. Plus, I need to find a new hat now, really liked the old one. Hope your rounds are better than what I just played.

I owe you a hat ...whats your flavour
Winds were in the 7 mph, they might have crept upto 11 at one point ... I didnt really keep track, but never lost my hat *my Poetry attempt*

Kiwi,
Am really happy for you and your sizzling round today. I played my second round and was going really hot until hole #9, par 5. Long story short, my second shot at the green bounced twice on the green and rolled down into the lake behind the green. BAD. The next screen to appear had the ball drop area and it was across the lake and there was a fence about 1 ft. in front of my ball! I just could not believe that the drop area was beyond the green, across the lake and that damn fence in front of me. I was not happy and but I played it as it lied and did avoid the fence and took the bogie. At this point, I had 5 birdies and was on my way to a hot round. Well, nothing but trouble from here, could not pay the grounds keeper to buy a putt for me. Lots of lip outs again and my hot round ended up 1 over for the match. I think the fence and drop area positioning really did a number on my head. BTW, I did find a new hat, which was looking like a lucky one, until #9. I did report to the commish what I think was an improper drop area, will wait for their response. Who places a drop area in a position with a fence directly in front of your ball and across the lake 100 yds. beyond the green where the ball went into the water!! Have never seen this IRL.
So, I am glad for you, go get them and show no mercy. For me, +3 is not where I thought I would be, especially with my play before the drop area incident. Oh well, that is the game and we live for tomorrow I guess. Best of luck to you on your last round. I am going to go and ponder my belly button for a while.

Hi, I am somewhat new here and I was wondering if anyone could clear up somethings for me?
What on earth is wrong with the wind in this game? Why is 12-20 MPH wind normal? I'm not too sure I would go outside with 20 MPH wind but I was just forced to play an entire round where the wind crept up to 20+ on multiple holes. I'm not trying to rage or complain or anything like that, but is this normal? It just seems to me like this wind is a bit excessive is all.
Thanks for everything everyone does for this community and I hope to see you all out there.

I live in South Carolina and have only played one round of golf in 10+mph winds and probably wouldn't do it again. As far as the game, 20 is more on the higher side. Usually it will range from 6-13. Hopefully the wind patch comes soon so at least everyone would have to play on 20 mph winds if you had to play in them.

Like other people might be playing at different wind speeds?

Yep Will be fixed as soon as the patch is released for all systems Pic has been patched but wind fix will only be active once all systems are patched Search wind waiting and you will see a lot of comments The guys at the top of the lb are lucky with winds or wind waiters or gods that can shoot -10 in high winds (I think the last one unlikely in the lower challenge flights)

Welp after a superb first round (-9) I had a complete meltdown on my second (+9) thanks to the wind, 18 mph at times. Back at E. I am heated right now.

Hey outrajeous
Firstly Welcome
Were all in the same boat with winds, some get low some get high .. The powers to be, will release a wind patch ,so all platforms get the same.
P.S If your using mouse/Kb you'll notice the putting stroke is delayed as well
Powers to be,are aware of it.
