Welcome Gents/Gals
To those that made it this far ...onward an upward
My early tips for this event are upcoming Mr Michael Clark aka Orion, with the form he's in, expecting a top Ten finish
as for myself, hard to say, my form is in an out like a cat on a hot tin roof , hope for top 20 or better

Kiwi,
What are trying to do, curse me? (LOL) Thanks for the show of support dude. And, you beat me to the punch on getting a thread up and running for all of us "E" players, E for Exceptional!! Nice job Kiwi. Hope all of us in this group can have some real good fun out here in the forum. I believe in this strongly to share, get help and just have a good time. Those of you who know me or a little about me, I will go a little crazy at times, so be fore warned. Let's get this thing started and get the strikes, the points, everything that we have to deal with now rolling. I'm excited for the competition and the fun.

Sarintra, Dopesaks, and Bobbyfunk,
First guys, let me Welcome all of you new guys to the CC-E group. I am an old guy here, been here since the very first tournament when things were a lot different than what they are now. I am an older guy in the age category also, so am going to be the voice of reason for once in my life.(lol). I get it that you guys are a little nervous or anxious about playing in these tournaments. Don't be! Natural to have those butterflies at this stage, but one big bit of advice to pass along to you is do not count yourself out too early. Get ready for the next event. Go out and practice this next course as much as you can. Your chances of getting above the first strike point, within the top 70, are as good as mine are. Just have to have more confidence in your game and not worry about being demoted. It takes 3 strikes to get demoted, so that will not happen until 3 tournaments from now. I am not sure if any of you have played a tournament yet, if not, then just practice the course as much as you can, learn it, take notes while you practice, and mostly do not pay attention to the "Handicap" numbers that you will see in the game. The TGCT does not use these, this is something built into the game by HB and we do not use these numbers. I just look at them as an indicator of my improvement or lack of improvement only. They mean nothing for what we do during our playing these tournaments.
I just wanted to tell you guys to not get down on your selves and start talking about going to the Z level. This group, E, will probably get most of the Q-School graduates, as we may not be the bottom level, we are the bottom level for Q-School. So expect a lot of new people every month, a lot who will probably end up in the Z level eventually. For now though, get a more positive outlook, practice as much as you can, and do not be afraid to come to this thread or others you might see and ask for help, seek answers, what ever is on your mind, there is someone who can offer assistance or at least guide you to someplace where you might get the answers you are looking for. My game goes up and down all the time. I get on streaks were I play really well, and then I go on streaks that makes me think that I too, should be in Z. But, I do not express my outlook as going to Z, I try to express my desire to earn that exemption to play up one level and get to that level by playing the best I can. EVERYONE starts to improve once they leave the school, and you will see that these courses are not the hard, killer courses you played at school. The game is a lot of fun, but these forums are what makes this community of golfers even more fun to be involved. Lots of good people here, some of the best that I have ever met. Get to know some and have a great time. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the matches next week and I hope that you all play really well and have fun in here lying about your shots and conquests. See you on the 1st tee next week.

Thanks for the welcomes. So I've been practicing Victory and averaging around E to +3 over, but somehow and I don't know how, I shot a -10 lol. I hope I can get a round like that when it counts. How's everyone doing in practice?

How's everyone doing in practice? I did okay but found a few of the tee shots a little daunting. I'll have a couple more rounds and see how it goes. Good luck
