FWK - finale Round 4 looks like this: And here's my total. Frustrating feeling -40. I felt like it could have been so much more, especially with that R3 hanging out there. Wutpa schmiff

Round 3: -6
Started off scrambling to make par on the first few holes. Had a little birdie run on the back but it was a lot of scrambling to keep it together.
Round 4: -8
3 3 3 3 4 4 3 3 3 29 5 3 3 5 4 3 3 3 5 34 63
Started got on the front and made turn at six under. The back was alot cooler as was only two under. A few wild shots made scrambling necessary again!

Alright, so.... Here's my scorecards, however, I was robbed on hole 18 in round 4 by the dashboard bug. Video for proof below. Scorecards. What's the most annoying about this is, if they don't fix it, I'm missing out on a promo mark, -41 gets 2 currently.

I've changed your scorecard in Dirtbags, so you get that birdie on the 18th here at least. It doesn't affect any results or points, but it absolutely should be recorded. Perhaps if you send that vid to the TGCTours guys they'll take that into account as well and make sure you get the promo marks you deserve.

Wutpa I see you already got my round four score, I was just going to report it. Best round of the tourney but not good enough - all those late birdies meant nothing. Oh well, wait till next season!

That's a wrap for the season! And what better way to end things than with another couple of closely contested matches? First up we had the Footwedge Krew vs The Skylarkers in a grudge match (aren't they all at this point?), the Krew's captain Tomi swearing righteous vengeance* on the team that edged them out in their last encounter on week 3. A gripping contest followed, the two teams trading an equal number of wins in the pairs rounds, with Ross once again MVP with a monstrous -20 in round 1. A scrappy match between Tomi and Paul ended all square while Paraic and Randy had another thriller with the same result. However Nigel weighed in with some solid singles scores to bring two wins home for the team. This proved the turning point as although Marcus and Arnie claimed excellent wins as well, Ross was his dominant self, so eventually the Krew fell just short and the Skylarkers were once again victorious, 14-10. *may be exaggerated Our second match was the Sultans of Swing vs The Grid Munchers, a matchup that had all the makings of a classic after a tied result last time around. Thomas and Sean picked up the first win with some consistent scoring but then the formidable pairing of Trevor and Jamie grabbed two dominant wins against strong opposition. Mike and Neil squeaked out a win in round 2 with some clutch matchplay, meaning the Munchers were up 3-1 heading into the singles matches. Round 3 was an extremely close affair with two matches being won by a single shot. Thomas and Josh picked up vital wins to even things up, and Trevor and Sean had a thrilling tie before Neil edged out Paul to maintain a slender lead going into round 4. Finally the Munchers showed their dominance as Jamie and Neil picked up big wins for the team, a win for Paul Davies coming too late to change the eventual outcome - a win for The Grid Munchers by 14 points to 10. That leaves us bowing down in awe once again of another perfect week for Ross Nixon, his 4th out of the 6 weeks. Kudos to him for being so instrumental in his team's performances. The final table reads as follows. There's no change in the overall order from last week, which makes the Skylarkers victorious, bringing home the ceremonial bag of dirt for their trophy cabinet. The unbeaten(!) Grid Munchers were extremely close behind and nothing less than a win from the Skylarkers this week would have kept them on top. The Sultans come in 3rd, a hair ahead of the Footwedge Krew. On to the individual leaderboard and it's no surprise to see Ross Nixon sitting pretty (or otherwise) at the top of the table. It's also no surprise to see a pair of munchers at his heels, Jamie and Trevor ahead of the Sultans' Sean by a small margin. Thus ends our coverage of this Dirtbags season! Thanks to everyone for taking part and for the great spirit on this discussion thread. And thanks especially to my co-admin Wutpa , without whom this season would probably not have happened, and who quite frankly did most of the work anyway. Hopefully we'll see you all again whenever the next season may be...

Loved my first foray into the Infamous Dirtbags. Really enjoyed the banter in here. Congratulations to my team mates in the Skylarkers. We had a great Season. Most of all Congratulations to everyone in this Society. The standard of play was awesome and really pushed me to play some of my best golf ever. Of course thank you to Wutpa and schmiff for all their work in Admin for this Season. You guys are the glue that keeps these Societies together. Go Skylarkers and see you all next Season. Cheers Ross

I submitted a ticket as soon as I posted my scores, and another as soon as round 4 was available on the TGC site. Both times included the video. Still no reply or change to my score yet, which is frustrating as that potentially means I have to spend an extra week in CC-C if I get double promo marks next week.

Thanks also to the 16 excellent Dirtbags who played all 384/384 rounds this season, with no subs needed. Bravo! I'm not sure where we're landing yet regarding the next season, as the TGCT season is ending soon. We have some options though, so watch this space and news will be posted here as soon as we know more.
