Haha luckily I don't need to! I am making the cut in K baby! Moving on up in the world. Haha. Stoked for you though Blade . tied for 12th! Get that top 10! Thanks! Excited to make my first cut. Sadly a +2 on R3. I have not yet shot R4, but the wind looks to be less, so I am hopeful. Blade I am holding on up here by my fingernails. Hurry up and get those promo marks and let's play K!

I am on the bubble to sneak into the top 15% (I am 20% right now) so excited to see how I do in R4. Of course that means it will be a +10! ha ha

I am so unhappy with my first two rounds. Slow galore and fasts mixed in for good measure when trying to fix the slows. I have no idea what is going on with my swing and I am just going through the motions really with the game. Getting nowhere and it is extremely frustrating.
R1: -3 R2: +2
2 eagles and 9 birdies didn't help me much as you can see and even then I feel like some of those gained shots were just luck and a bad tempo shot somehow getting in the right spot. I have hit numerous tee shots so bad that they never reach the fairway. Ever since tempo was introduced in the TGC games I have gone so far downhill...
Not bothering with the last two rounds because I have no idea where my first two rounds will get me. It is definitely boring being bad.

I thought last week's course would have a lot of low scores and the cut line was at +5, so I wouldn't see this week being much different, so you will most likely make the cut! Keep trucking man! The next two courses are beautiful. I like them alot.

Nice to finally have some decent rounds and make my first cut. I was sweating the second round just trying not to screw up but nerves got the better of me lol and only shot 3 under. Almost did the same in the 3rd round after starting with a bogey on the back nine but manage to get my focus back and finished eagle, birdie, birdie to shoot 9 under. 18 under after 3 rounds.

Congrats! That's a solid score! I am on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. I not only missed the cut, but got a demo mark in the process. I feel like I didn't play horribly, but in a brutal twist, the SLOW greens screwed me up this week. I generally overpower my putts (not on purpose) but I have adjusted for it with taking a nice amount off of the marker distance. With the R1, especially, being at 117, I left a large number of birdie putts just an inch short. It had to have been at least 6. It was brutal. Round two was my day at the beach. Hit 8 bunkers. -2 R1 and a +1 round two kept me 1 under par, but with the crazy scores this week, that gave me a demo mark. Got to shake it off and come back next week and make the cut!

I don't change the speed of a flat or uphill putt from what the game gives me. I shorten the putt aim by 1/3 of a square for each inch for 1, 2 or 3 inches down. More than 3 inches down I am still playing with, but for right now pull it back 1 box. That typically makes them go 3 feet or so past the hole, which gives me a consistent pace to the hole (which means my reads are pretty similar no matter the green speed - really slow I have to adjust a little).

I hear ya man, I was -3, -12, -6, 0. Really disappointed with my last round. A simple -1 on the last round would have at least given me a promotion mark. Just seems to sh%$ the bed

Well, I better send my campaign posters off to the printer, because it looks like I will be running for Mayor of CC-Kville. My two rounds weren't horrid, but they weren't great either. A respectable R1 -3 and R2 -2 for a -5 at the cut was just enough for me to squeak through for some weekend golf. This also obliterated my demotion mark, my second time accomplishing such a feat. So I am starting to get the feeling I am no where near good enough to move on up to J anytime soon, but also, I know how to keep myself in the hunt enough to feel relatively safe from demotion to L for the time being. So, it looks like you are stuck with me for a while. Good luck to all who made it to the weekend!

Hi all, after a long wait from the Q event I played my first tournament this week. Made the cut with a decent -11, I have lost the promotion mark train with a poor -3 third round (with an eagle at the 18th hole but several stupid boogies). Finished the tournament with a better 4th round but I need to put 4 solid rounds together to start seeing green marks Roberto

Dirtbags are coming back!
We are gauging interest to see if anyone wants additional (team) competition with no extra rounds necessary each week as we play the CC schedule. We will divide into teams of 4 players. It is a lot of fun.
We do ask for a season long committment.
If interested, please leave your name as it appears on the TGCT leaderboards, the system you play on, the division you currently play in and your gamertag.
Post in the Dirtbag NEW thread if interested. Any questions can be answered there.
I hope we can get 6 teams of 4 players.

Man just could not make a putt in the first round but caught fire on the front 9 of second round only to go cold on the back 9 and finished 6 under after 2 rounds. Bummed to leave so many strokes out there. I honestly believe if you add up the distance on my missed birdie putts in the first round it would be less than a foot combined of 12 to 14 opportunities. So frustrating knowing I had a shot at being in top 5, but silly little mistakes on par 5's and poor putting just cost me so many strokes.
