Two 52's posted by the top two players after round 2. Great shooting, but I'm hoping they are immediately fast tracked onto the upper tours. It would really be nice (pipe dream, I know...) to have some semblance of a balanced tour that we can compete on for a full season, but people pick up this game and stink early (qualifying) and then improve quickly, so the promotion system does move them up fairly quickly. Me....I peaked MANY years ago!! LOL Yeah, so after going 56-52, I went 67-68 so no need to fast track me...

Currently in 1st place this week. Can't wait to see how far I drop after taking a '7' in the final round on hole #6.

This thread looks rather quiet.
Landed here from the promo after grinding my way up from G to D (and C for an hour before I got the promo email!).
Now for a pixel golf life of cut line watching!

Welcome to CC-A Jamie Giraffe72You can stay on my sofa as I’ll be here a while but I reckon you won’t need to buy a house here, you won’t be here long enough to bother. Hot start this week which quickly fizzled out for me. Not a fan of the course and my scores reflect my interest waning. That’s not a slight in the designer, it’s a well produced course, just not to my tastes. Not enough water 💦 🤣

Actually I had a bit of a struggle in the first two rounds, might need to check the housing market after all. Couldn't quite get my swing line under control and hit a few fasts. And where last week everything I looked at seemed to drop in, this week 5 lip outs (including 3 really at dead weight) and a number of other half chances missed. Nothing glaring, just one of those weeks where it wasn't quite dropping. I guess the golfing gods evening up the luck a bit. Still, no dropped shots and a couple of nice eagles in round 2. 63 and 61 for -18 at half way. I think that makes the cut but I will be checking the R2 scores with some interest tomorrow morning. Thanks for the welcome SkyBlueBen, it's nice to be back! I made 1 cut out of 6 here earlier in the season, hoping up improve on that!

I was missing cuts in CC-G earlier in the season!! -18 should be OK. I’m sat on -22 after 2 but it was all downhill from there.

Well, that was an interesting first two rounds. Wound up at -23 (with three bogies), but was sitting at -1 ten holes in and my attitude towards the game was...well, not good. Something clicked on the tempo side though, and ended up -9/-14.
Would be refreshing to actually do more than make a cut, we'll see.

Solid but unspectacular week for me. The positive is that I didn't feel I played very well but still comfortably made the cut, very different to my short stint here earlier in the season. Really struggled to read the lines on these greens throughout. Had a 4 putt double in the 3rd round where 2 of the putts broke in the complete opposite way I'd played for! Didn't help that I had to rush through my rounds a bit because of lack of time later this week, I don't like playing that way. See you next week! Go on r0nrun, bring it home!

Bit better this week, a pair of 60's to sit -22 at the cut. One shot I wish I could have back, first round par 3 9th, hit my worst swing of the opening 2 rounds and stuck it in the stream in front of the green. It was only a flipping sand wedge! Drop zone was awful so I went back to the tee and got up and down for bogey. 2 shots thrown away! I imagine I'll be half a dozen shots back from the leader but well in the mix for a promo mark. Nice course, got a bit about it this one.

Well that was a good shout, exactly 6 shots back! A little bit too far to challenge for the win unless a few up there blow up, but I had a good last couple of rounds. 3rd round was a real battle with the swing line and tempo, had to take multiple practice swings to try and nail it down, think I genuinely squeezed every shot I could possibly get out of that round. Went to get another beer, sat back down and all of a sudden I was nailing it! Funny old game. Actually did miss a few putts in the 4th round but very pleased over all. Confident of one green tick, fingers crossed for two. Set you a little target to chase xEB50x and Demonondalinks
